...porn false flag to get support by the un-intelligent sheep....

In theory even that bible thing could be considered at least PG-13, due to the violence..  ( some argue R rated even )

My favorite action movie scene in the Bible ... second book of Kings, chapter 9: Jezebel is sitting by herself upstairs, and three guys show up and throw her out the window. Her blood spatters everywhere and a bunch of horses trample over what's left of her.

So yeah, if that were to be shot as a movie in an accurate way it would probably be R rated.

I figured you would understand my angle, with a more reasonable head.   It wasn't at all a 'bash' as some thought, it was just in the same theme, 'famous books/movie/TV' that would technically fall under the draconian restrictions.  And its one of the more famous books out there with violence embedded in that would raise it to at least the level PG.

Killing a few billion people ( and trillions of innocent animals ) in a flood is pretty violent too.

Well, occasionally you get those smartasses who go to a bookstore and start moving all of the Bibles into the "fiction" section. We call those people "those who deserve to be stabbed with a depleted uranium bookmark"

Seems one of Meta's biggest attorneys ( involved in their ludicrous AI suit ) has quit.  He feels that Zukerbug is now a Neo-Nazi.  Why? Because FB is going to again let people say "bad things", specifically about a particular small segment of our society, as that is the example they all seem to be using.

So lets see, an attorney that does not believe in free speech is calling someone that is ( currently ) supporting it a Nazi.

( disclaimer: i do happen to also disagree with the concept behind the 'example' they are using as 'bad things', but its still someones right to say it if that is what they feel. This is America last time i checked, not China )

People in the reflexively offended idpol camp tend to think of anyone who doesn't bow to their ideology to be "nazi".  It's such an overused metaphor that even Mike Godwin would tell them to knock it off.

While technically true, if they don't comply Brazil can simply deny future access to the country, and fine/shutdown any local entities in that country, including advertisers.  US court statements stop at the border.  And id not want it any other way.  While i may personally disagree with Brazil doing that, its their country, their rules.

"SARASOTA, Fla., Feb. 25, 2025 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Devin Nunes, CEO and Chairman of the Trump Media and Technology Group Corp. (Nasdaq: DJT) ("TMTG"), issued the following statement today after a U.S. federal judge ruled that TMTG and Rumble (NASDAQ: RUM) are under no obligation to comply with orders from a Brazilian Supreme Court Justice attempting to force Rumble to take down a U.S.-based user’s accounts."

That was comical.

I rarely go there, mostly just messenger for family but i happened to see a friend of mine post that typical " i hereby disallow Facebook to ...bla bla "   so i commented "no, that isnt how it works, you agree to their TOS when you sign up for an account", which is true.  Dont like the agreement, dont use the platform.

But some idiot came around " bla bla pushing your agenda free speech bla bla"   Man, people are stupid. Told him to go read the Constitution again.    So few of those idiots really understand our foundation, or realize they are actually Communists supporting the government to restrict private entries on things like speech.

And yes, i know Biden and group did stuff like that, but that crossed the line, and they did not follow the intent of separation and doesn't make it right.  Id like Trump to instate an intelligence test, and if you fail, you are deported, or turned into fertilizer.

Um, no. 'Congress shall make no law abridging the freedom of speech' does not imply that private entities have a constitutional right to censor people. State legislatures could pass a law prohibiting censorship and it would be constitutional. I'm NOT saying it would be a good idea, I'm just saying it wouldn't violate the constitution.

I don't visit it often, really no need other than i guess to contribute some resources.. But is TOR slower than it used to be?  No, its never been a speed demon due to its nature, but it feels dreadfully slow today.

I would not know. I am a regular Tor user, and Tor is still faster than my home ISP subscription.

Next step: Banning them, and their operators.  ( this is twitter )

“We’re rolling out updates to improve transparency for Parody, Commentary, and Fan (PCF) accounts on our platform. Starting April 10, all PCF accounts will be required to include PCF-compliant keywords at the beginning of their account names and avoid using identical avatars to the entities they depict,” the post reads. “These requirements also apply to accounts that have the Parody label. We’re continuing to refine this label and will soon have more details on how it will replace these requirements.”

On the contrary, they're trying really hard to avoid banning them completely.
Banning them was a characteristic of the old Twitter, the one that was an echo chamber for certain kinds of people. I have a shitpost account there (no, I won't tell anyone the name, not even my friends here) and I'm more than happy to label it as such. I can get away with just about anything.

Until I see evidence otherwise, I am assuming good faith.
