Of course, as many now know, JFK airport just went through a couple of days of hell-on-earth.  Flights delayed, canceled, diverted, people stuck in planes on the airfield for 20 hours, baggage pickup rooms piled high with more suitcases than can fit on the belt, and even a water main break that flooded one of the terminals.

There was an international flight that had to land at Stewart instead, and although the runway there is big enough for a jumbo, they don't have any jetways that are high enough, so they had to deplane on the airfield.  Brrrr.

I think I'll stay home until this passes.  :)

I actually had to shovel out my driveway after that last serious snow on THursday night so I could fly out Friday afternoon.

Cruise.. Caribbean islands... that was better.

I'm glad you survived the elevator.

I searched the internets for "elevators on cruise ships" wondering if they had them ... and was presented with numerous stories of a 2015 incident in which a maintenance worker was crushed to death in an elevator shaft aboard a cruise ship.  Evidently he passed the Darwin Test by failing to lock out the elevator before working on it.  When he was crushed by the car, large amounts of blood began pouring out the doors like a scene from a slasher movie.

So yes, cruise ships have elevators, but they are not safe.

Oh yes.. 20 decks on that cruise ship. No elevators would have been bad. Wesley would like those elevators too..

I recently did some traveling, I was amazed in each city I stopped there was a local company that was upsetting a $200 billion dollar industry.  Apparently the companies in the different cities are run by three sets of slacker octuplets.

I suppose we can talk about it "in the open" at this point.  Yes, Curly went to prison.  Turns out he's a pedophile.
