So just hypothetical question. Primaries come and go. Due to D's rigging things, Biden is the candidate that is on the state ballots after meeting the rules and requirements. Later this summer he bows out of the race ( for whatever reason ), perhaps even resigns/dies totally.
How does that work with the state ballots? A redo? Party just gets to install their favorite without having to meet requirements? Will it be totally uncharted territory. Or total chaos and it all falls apart ( if it hasn't by then anyway ).
