PS i hate cloud.
I hate cloud too. Over the weekend a cloud deposited rain on my front yard for a day and a half, and now there's rocks and silt from the creek that overflowed all over my front lawn. That's going to take forever to clean up.
And yet again, postal carrier sits down the street, fills out 'delivery attempt notice' for all packages, then just delivers the notices, not the actual packages.
Now i have to find time Monday to go to the post office and get my stuff.
Record video of this and give it to the postmaster.

The only reason i hesitate is potential retaliation from the carrier. I like getting mail and not having it flushed down the toilet instead.

Stuff like this makes me wonder why I keep working as hard as I do. Maybe I've saved enough that I could quit my job and just sit down the street and fill out delivery attempt notices instead of delivering packages and get by.
So from what i understand so far, if you are on Medicare, they have a max limit they pay on drugs per year. The exact opposite of how insurance works with a max out of pocket..
And if your spouse has insurance and you use it too, they pay zero..
Some days i hate computers..
- desktop, wont boot
- laptop.. headset quit working 4 minutes before a meeting ( well the mic did.. i could still hear )
- phone, stopped using WiFi to call out ( and i have no cell single here )
- after a lot of effort including swapping drives around machines, sort of got things working. moving desktop back into place, knocked the power cord out.. fell down behind my desk..
arrrgh.
Delivery people, who lay your packages against your screen door so you cant get out of your house.
Especially when you have a freaking table right beside the door...
I sent the temp NC a netmail, as you're supposed to do, never heard back.
After a couple of weeks, I gave up and shut down binkd.
Today, I was going through the FIDONET_SYSOP echo to find a post mentioning my name, indicating that I hadn't been reachable and therefore he was removing me from the nodelist. Wait, what? How'd I get in there?
Sure enough I'm listed as Down now. 1:129/146.
So I guess the procedure now is to just wait a couple weeks to see if people go away, THEN add them to the nodelist, then take them back out again after they got frustrated and disappeared?

Seems the climate activists got to the local park.Took dog up for a walk and noticed a lot of chalk writing on the trails. ( some are asphalt ). Didn't really pay attention, more worried about watching my dog.. thinking: " stupid kids ". But one caught my eye " Earth needs clean water"... ya. they were all like that once i looked.
I guess at least it wasn't destruction or paint.. ( or them gluing themselves to the trail )
