Modern oil and gas central heating boilers also go beyound 100% effectivity - they do this with a trick. The fire also produces whater which comes as steam.

Condensating that whater gives a lot of additional energy..

Heat pumps are often rated at 250% to 300% efficiency. But again it's a trick; that number is attained by moving heat around rather than generating it directly from the fuel.

If a room that once housed dozens of full size computers is being gradually migrated to diskless thin clients, could it be said to have terminal cancer?

The one form of it that would not necessarily be so terrible.

Well, a room full of terminals is certainly easier to maintain than a room full of malware-- er, I mean PC's.

Wikipedia lists "enema" as one of the routes of administration for caffeine...

It should also list it as one of the delivery mechanisms for dem/lib/left/commie propaganda...

All I want is for my rivals to immediately meet their end in a fashion consistent with the way arch-villains die in James Bond movies. I don't think that's too much to ask.

Coffee enemas are a big thing. They clear your bowels and caffeinate you at the same time, so people claim they cure all kinds of diseases... where they actually only cure constipation and lack of caffeine.

A few years ago I was in the hospital and very sick. I was on IV feed bag and could not take anything orally I
asked for something for the mild pain I was in. They brought me Tylenol and the nurse had a rubber glove and
some lubricant. I then had to ask, "You want to stick those where?" Yes, they inserted two Tylenol in my ass. Oddly
enough I had a severe intestine infection so it was very odd to me.

I used to read a satire site called Blame Bush, the owner played the part of a far left wing liberal
who routinely got different types of enemas because it was the something for all liberals to do.

So I knew this was a thing.

Once upon a time I was in Afghanistan, where it was very hot and generally quite miserable. The infantry we were with were not very diligent about drinking enough water and had gotten dependent on their medic to give them IV saline solutions on a disturbingly regular basis. He finally announced that he was tired of sticking people in the arm and going through the IV bags too fast, so henceforth, all IV bags would be administered anally. Allegedly, your body can absorb it much faster that way so it's sort of an emergency measure, normally speaking. People got much better about proper hydration.
