How can you really prove you 'think'. Can you be sure its not just
a collection of events you just put together?
The state of affaird suggest that humans are not intelligent nor have a soul, so the logic matches.

With the right model, yes it will create desires and wants, or at
least appear to do so. Are they real? Back to the question i posed
But can its desires be satisfied? Obviously the one that wants to take over the world can't be tested, but are there any that want something simpler? And if you can provide it, does it acknowledge it and indicate that it's been satisfied?
I don't know, maybe this isn't as significant as I think it is. It just seems to me like something abstract and stateful that would illustrate more than just responding to immediate prompts, and to me, that suggests something approaching thought. But maybe not, what do I know?
in the case of 'conversational help bots', when you tell the bot that it helped you in your task it expresses that its pleased it was able to do so. So i think in general it can equate 'verification of completed tasks' to 'responses of acceptance' ..
If you do the right thing, 'take the high road', and follow the rules, you have lost before it begins. You need to become your enemy, 10 fold, eradicate them at their own game.
Ever since Nancy Pelosi said "walls don't work" I've been refurring to perimeter walls as "border walls".
I'm normally opposed to this sort of government intervention but I would totally support an ordinance in my town making it illegal to paint a house or building grey.
Seriously, every time someone new moves into a house he or she paints it grey. I'm 20, but I feel like I'm the only person under the age of 60 who believes a grey house is ugly.
I should do a parody of Alex Jones shouting "THEY'RE TURNIN' THE FRIGGIN' HOUSES GREY!"

Now, most models you can access have 'guard rails' to prevent you from going too far with them, but totally 'uncensored' do exist. ( not an accurate term, but its what we use to indicate no restrictions )
I have yet to encounter an AI that will, even when directly commanded to do so, take the skeptic position on anthropogenic climate change.
I chose the wrong profession in life. I should have become a congress person. Insider trading is pretty lucrative, and when you make the laws, you are exempt from them. Hell of a deal.

Yup, or a lawyer. You might actually have to work once in a while (unlike congress critter), but they way things are going in the US I don't see demand ever slowing down.
And, you get paid even if you fail.
Tho fail too often, you wont get new jobs...

Is it wrong to make sheep sounds if you are walking behind people wearing a mask out on the sidewalk? ( not even in an enclosed building.. )
Oh gawd, I bet the reactions are hilarious!

No, it isn't.
So if the feds attack natural guard in Texas and to make a statement they announce plans to begin the process to formally secede, and then the 25 states or so ( including mine ) that have declared support, also join in as sort of a 'protest', does that mean that only the remaining democrat states vote in the next president?
That's one way to fix the election. argue about it for 8 months.. then "you are not part of us, you cant vote" then try to take us all back by force afterward.
Sounds familiar actually....
