Subject: Re: Netcraft confirms it: Windows is dying.
My caveat is - "IF the ruling class really intends this level of global lunacy, and IF they ever get anywhere close to implementing it before people just put down their feet and go, "NO." If we largely refuse to comply, they never get far enough."
But if they do get far enough - that is where the real shitshow begins.
I agree the final outcome will be overthrow, but that has never stopped the ruling class from trying anyway.

I'm sure my paranoia is no where near the level of reality with this
guy. I dont think in evil ways to destroy/control humanity.
I am not exaggerating when I say (repeatedly) that Bill Gates is the worst, the most evil, the most wicked person in the history of the world. This is not hyperbole; it is the cold hard truth.
He has a god complex and he has eugenist tendencies. And thankfully, people outside the technology world are starting to realize how evil he is.
May his days be few and his ending gruesome.

Bill Gates wants to dispel sunlight.
This should dispel any doubts that he is indeed the Prince of Darkness.

I saw that too. While i dont trust the FBI, it is pretty funny.

I understand that some people believe it is a huge problem and want to adopt radical and risky solutions, and they probably truly believe that their solution is the only viable solution.
It is this kind of certainty in a solution that makes a business successful - and with a LOT of success comes a huge platform to increase the volume of that assurance outside of just the world of business.
In fact, this is just an example of anyone who gets such a big platform, has so much success, that they start believing their own hype. Hollywood directors, rockstars, sports celebrities.
It is just another version of George Lucas becoming certain that HIS vision alone was responsible for the success of his franchise. Or Stephen King becoming so big that he decided all of his books should have non-subtle political subtexts surrounding minorities and women's rights.
And no one in their circle being strong enough to say, "no... these are bad ideas."
It doesn't make them *evil*. It certainly is hubris. But the hubris probably got them as far as they got - and is why the folks like this end up making the decisions and everyone else who is less confident gets dragged grudgingly along.
Personally, I think Musk is right with off-planet colonization as the only viable alternative. I think we need to get to Mars and terraform it. I think that studies that show there is not enough carbon naturally on Mars indicates that carbon isn't a useless terrestrial waste product, but a resource we will sequester and SELL to off-world terraforming corporations.
I believe those corporations will likely be led by people full of self confidence who the rest of society eventually regard as evil - because they'll make whatever sacrifices they believe need to be made (by EVERYONE) in order to see their vision achieved - because they have that much faith in that vision.
I think this is why a lot of the people in this role tend to be high functioning on the autism spectrum. They don't see morality in the way the rest of us do. Things are very black and white for them and they're often able to remove emotional responses from their equations.
Which... comes across to normal people as being evil.

Henry Kissinger, how I'm missing ya...
"It's a shame they can't both lose."
I don't trust any email server that I didn't write myself.
Bill & Melinda Gates are divorcing.
Matt Yglesias: "Melinda's gonna blow the whistle on the microchips in the vaccine. "I was okay with secretly tracking everyone at first,
but Bill just wouldnb t relent even when it was clear the auto factories really needed those chips."
I saw this - after 27 years - why NOW?
The economics of it are stupid - the benefits of it are stupid. They're going to either have relationships with other old, almost dead people with wrecked bodies *or* with younger gold-diggers who are only interested in their money. And that is after the lawyers and courts take their share. They could live the next 20 years, which is about their max - and never have to see one another again if they lived TOGETHER in *one* house they own - but they could also just live in different houses.
Something changed, severely, in their outlook toward one another. Significantly. One of them thinks the other is a monster.
I don't think it is the vaccine - I suspect it has more to do with this "Great Reset" bullshit and that Melinda knows enough about history to know that when the privileged start getting so much hubris about their value to society that they try shit like this - *generally* what happens is mobs of angry, starving peasants drag the nobles from their castles, along with their families, and commit unspeakable acts upon them.
And she doesn't want to be around when this happens to Bill.

She will only get 1/2. He will still be stupid rich, able to continue to push the agenda. And knowing him he's got a lot 'protected' from her attorneys .

You never get *half*. I'm sure at this scale, the percentage the lawyers take is a lot less of the total... but the lawyers and the court get a chunk, and then you split what is left 50/50...
And the money - a lot of it is more earning potential - Gates loses more in net value on some days than his 98% of his workforce will earn in their entire, combined lives.
I think the interesting thing is that one of them wants out from the other - and I'm guessing it is Melinda - and I'm guessing it is because Bill has gone to a place she literally cannot support.
Which, I can't imagine what that place is - but... it supports Ig's claim that Gates actually has crossed over from just a ruthless asshole to something more sinister.

Right, overhead is assumed.
Even if they totally agree on the split up front, with the massive amount of assets they need attorneys to get it all straight. Tho, i would imagine they are salaried staff anyway and their bill is accounted for in other ways. People like that dont go out and get an attorney when they need it, they are already there..

Good point. But I suspect Melinda will likely go out and get a high powered divorce attorney - not rely on one of the internal ones that are kind of invested in Gates, Inc.
I mean - there is kind of an assumption that the salaried lawyers are all really Bill Gate's lawyers. I'd want someone from outside the fold, if I were Melinda.

We are talking about the single worst person in the history of the world, bar none.
That was part of my point tho, only losing 1/2 of 130 billion wont make him miserable. Not even a blip in his life style. its not like he is going to lose it all and be in the poor house.
Tue May 04 2021 10:28:57 AM EDT from IGnatius T FoobarWho cares about the money? I don't care about the money. What matters is that Bill Gates must be made as miserable as possible for the rest of what I hope is a short life.
