I get those every so often too. I have to give them credit if they can get my cam to work. Its not plugged in... THAT is some talent there :)
LOL.
Also... on any site that matters, I pretty much have dual factor authentication enabled, though it is a hassle.
I'm always tempted to write back...
"I know your password, and I have video of you jacking off to video of me jacking off to porn on a website of OTHER people jacking off, and I have all your family contacts, so if you don't send me $5000, they're all going to see what a sick bastard YOU are, which is far worse in your honor based society than in my puritanical one!"

Then again, we've had to smack people for looking at pr0n on their work computers, so I guess people are stupid...
Back at the plant where i was the entire IT department..
Night supervisor out on the floor i noticed in the logs he was hitting a porn site just a couple of times ( this was late 90s ). "dude, i have to give these logs to HR, you really need not to do that here" A week later "ya, i got in trouble.. i should have listened" He ramped up the use, couldn't deny it.

I wonder how many people actually log in to pr0n sites with their real
email address and their "usual password". I guess someone is doing it,
because the sites have to make money somewhere. Quite honestly I have
no clue how they make money when so much of it is free.

There is people who just cannot have enough porn, and it needs to be HD with perfect sound. The free stuff is usually not the best video quality. If you are an addict and have the need to download and access tonnes of quality stuff then you end up better paying.
Also, the porn industry plays with the idea that a given piece of content is going to be profitable for a small length of time before it is leaked to a torrent site and they simply roll with it.
For the record, I used to be registered at a paywalled softcore site because the price was affordable, and availability of material was faster and better than free alternatives - you simply got quality material without having to dig up for it. The community, however, was cringeworthy... they'd spot some minor defect on a video or picture and complain as if their whole masturbatory life had been ruined.
*Everything* is free, if you know where to look.

Its all free, if you know where to look.
Of course it is all free if you know where to look.
Now, most sites where you fetch the free (or ""freeeeee"") material may waste you some time while you wade through the ads, the overbloated javascript libraries, and low resolution material. So you can get **anything** for free eventually, but **if** the official source is cheap enough then it may make sense to pay 3 bucks and get three months worth of it from the source.
I am still talking about porn, but this applies to other things too :) Some movies I have been looking for were so hard to find in the underdarks of the web that I spent a whole week searching. I would have bought some of them if they had been available for purchase at all. It is not that they were not available in a decent quality in a language useful to me from the underdark - I am not an HDfag but the copies I got were so blocky that you could not see what was going on for many of the scenes.
Same with porn. If you just want to jerk off to some random material then you are bound to find something. If you are a fan of a particular girl then you are going to have to waste some time searching unless you go to the source with your wallet.
In general I'm not a fan of paying for streaming. If i like something, I want a copy. So for me it's worth looking for.
Among other reasons, most streaming services rotate their product. So in 6 months, that tv show you signed up to watch, may be gone.
I think I get it thanks to darknetuser's explanation. "Why would anyone pay for porn" is the same as "why would anyone pay for movies in general".
Although I think the porn industry is less obnoxious to society than Hollywood has been :)
At least the porn industry does not have a secret hidden political agenda. Everything about them is laid out on the table for all to see ( ya, pun intended ) "we want you to buy our stuff, and you like this sort of stuff here to watch, so here ya go"

Yeah, his explanation is not wrong.

Same here.
I am talking about purchasing DVDs and drm-free downloads, mind you.
I am sure as heck not paying for streaming services.
I still buy CDs too. Only directly from the artist, or one of the small indi labels that dont screw the artist. And since i dont like mainstream music, its pretty common. M/PAA are some of the worst scumbags out there and wont feed that beast.
Now, i'm not beyond downloading the content once i get it to save me the trouble of ripping/etc. i know is not 100% legit, but if any judge bitched id just wave the media around in the air.

Hollywood's political agenda is not exactly "hidden".
PErhaps not as hidden as it used to be, but its still not 'published' as such. Its just plainly obvious at this point.
Wher the porin indudstry, 'this is us, this is our business model, like it and give us cash, or not and dont sue us'. Not that i'm a fan of porn industry as its not 'me', but i give them credit for things like that. Its a legal business. At least in most areas.
And speaking of bottom feeders, when did they stop caring about the 'do not call list'
I was amazing anyone ever respected it to begin with. That was such a typical government solution to a problem. It only works with the assumption that everyone behaves.

What are you talking about? Porn? Hollywood? Without a quote of what you are responding to, it is hard to figure it out :)
