Wont happen but the fact its got this far pisses me off.  Proposal for constitutional amendment was submitted, to start banning guns and changing rules. 

Newsom's proposed amendment can be done through legislation.  The things he's asking for should be done through legislation.

I can no longer condemn any harm that may come to Gov. Newsom or anyone else stupid enough to support this proposed amendment.

Hes pushing his presence to replace Biden i suspect.

Thus the political show.  Knowing that realistically it cant happen, but he can still make a lot of noise and get a lot of press attention.

Here's the problem with that: go look at a political map of the US broken down by county. If we could split, where would you draw the lines?

Either its beginning, or this was to serve as a warning.  They armed/hired these IRS agents for a reason.

So an attorney i listen to, and seems to be rather on the ball in general has this theory:

NFA items are taxable. Thus fall under the purview of the IRS.

So they take 4473s, get names and addresses of people that bought something that could even remotely become a taxable item. Example: you bought just a lower receiver, but adding a short barrel, stock, bla bla whatever to it makes it a  NFA item, or even everyone who bought a brace in the last few years....  So they go door to  door kicking in doors to search your house.   

Now you know why they armed them, and the job requirements included "be willing to use deadly force".

Don't need guns to go talk to some business owner ( well they did in this case.. as a show of force ) but you might if you are going to go after those right wing 2A terrorists.. 

We are fucked.

I guess a federal judge struck down the stupid new receiver rule.  So now we can buy 80% and kits again without going thru an FFL. And 3D printing is back off the soon to be banned list.

I'm sure it will be appealed and end up with scotus, but with how they have been ruling lately, if they even accept the case, they will agree with the original finding.

As cheap as those things are, you have to give them credit: Pull trigger go boom..

And unrelated to that, seems the ATF's attempt to remove 80% lowers has failed.  Still under appeal, but their request for a stay got slapped down.

Rumor of executive order in the next day or two:

"if you sell a firearm for more than 1 dollar than you paid, you must register as an FFL"  Which of course imposes a fee and you must agree to all the intrusive infringements that go along with it..
