I also worry about Hanukkah coming in a few weeks, as i expect another 9/11 style terrorist attack here, and in other countries, against gatherings of Jewish people.

They may not realize it, but Israel just caved to pressure, and just
lost the war. They have agreed to a daily 4 hour cease fire. You
can not give your enemy time to recover like this. And that is all it
will do.
It's a daily 4-hour humanitarian corridor and a bunch of civilians have been fleeing south under the white flag. If Israel can't do that much, they risk losing their claim to spare civilian lives.

A bunch of civilians, a bunch of Hamas supporters, a good number of Hamas fighters, and allows the remaining Hamas to regroup.
Yes, id be all for it if it was JUST helping out civilians. But its doing just as much ( if not more ) harm by helping the enemy, and falling prey to their propaganda. And no, there is no easy answer when you are fighting embedded terrorists.

Right, but creating martyrs for Iran, will escalate things even more. We lose people it pisses us off, they lose people it empowers them.

There are three types of philistines in Gaza:
1. Men, who are terrorists
2. Women, who breed terrorists
3. Children, who are in training to become terrorists
I find it extremely alarming how quickly the media has consolidated its support behind the terrorists over the last couple of weeks. Originally they were trying to maintain some amount of distance, but it's now "kill Israel, kill the Jews" all the time.
My daughter is attending college right now and she is bringing home reports of heavy anti-semitism and pro-Hamas activity on her campus. I am guessing it's the same on most campuses.
I hope and pray for peace in our time. Peace through strength. Peace through killing every last philistine remaining in Gaza.
While i dont disagree, its a far bigger problem than just those in Gaza. That wont fix anything.
