Im perhaps 15 miles from a military base, out in the sticks. Not a well known one, but not a secrete either. it 'just is'. ( used to go the public firing range there. Was nice in the old days, didnt even have a range master at first. Just some covered tables and dirt piles to shoot at. Later a trailer showed up with a range master... Now its an actual building + fees. bla bla )

But, the last week or so LOTS of helicopters in the area.  I assume they are doing readiness training for what is coming.  In 20+ years never seen this many.

They may not realize it, but Israel just caved to pressure, and just lost the war. They have agreed to a daily 4 hour cease fire.  You can not give your enemy time to recover like this. And that is all it will do.
