I have a recommendation for a calendar program. It is a stand alone calendar, non networked but is the best little calendar program i have found on the web.
It might not be for everyone but it is quite a powerful program, and its written by one guy and free under the GPL.
BORG is the name, and i just noticed the author added support for syncing with a caldav server.

Yeah, some of those 'audio descriptions' seem... off. Although some of them, like 'speaking Japanese' make perfect sense given the point of the captioning isn't to translate, but to convey the sounds. The 'snarls not like a dog' thing is hilarious, though. Someone didn't know what to put there, I'm guessing.
