I highly recommend the 4th season Phineas & Ferb episode in which they spoof
Star Wars Episode IV. Very much worth the $2 to buy it from Amazon streaming
for hte kids' entertainment yesterday evening. (And this morning. And probably
many other times.) But then, I like P&F anyway, way more than the kids do.
That's a funny one, but my favorite is stillĀ http://www.dorkly.com/post/59234/an-open-letter-from-a-death-star-architect :
Leonard Nimoy, famous for the song and video "The Ballad of Bilbo Baggins" died this morning at his home in the Bel Air section of Los Angeles. He was 83 years old.
Nimoy was also in Star Trek.
Leonard Nimoy, a co-worker of WILLIAM SHATNER passed away. WILLIAM SHATNER was know for being a parody of
himself.
himself.
May the fourth be with you.

Question:
Now that Disney owns the smoldering remains of both Lucas and Henson, when are we going to see Kermit the Frog in a Star Wars film?
I am surprised with all talk about the new Star Trek movie coming out no one here as mentioned anything.
I am intentionally putting off seeing the new movie until after the first
of the year.
1. less crowdcrap with which to contend
2. less hype to read
I have high hopes for this, having heard snippets of the JOHN WILLIAMS score. As usual, it seems to be brilliant.

You're in Indiana.
There's no such thing as a crowd except for the Indy 500...
Over this past weekend, my 15 year old son discovered -- and decided that he likes -- Star Trek. We were at a Christmas party and they decided that ST:TWOK would be a good Christmas movie to put on.
It figures ... after all these years there's finally a new Star Wars movie out, and we have a newly minted Star Trek fan.
TWOK might be the best one ever. W/ possible exception of the remake - Into Darkness.
A really effective villain makes a good movie.
