It was ready made world disaster to move along the agenda. They were just waiting for the right time to 'spring'. And this was presented to them on a silver platter.
Almost like it was manufactured. ( no, i dont think that is the case, just looks like it was )

I agree, "they" were waiting for the correct time to take away more freedoms. I don't think "they" were ready, but the opportunity presented itself.
(C)hina (O)riginated (V)irus (I)nstigated by (D)emocrats.
It did exactly what they intended for it to do.
I also hate this "they" talk. But there is certainly a "they" about. I don't think it is even the Democrats... I think there are a LOT of useful idiots between us and "they"...
It is weird finding oneself in the middle of a James Bond evil villain's plot. It is worse when there is no James Bond about to save liberty for the free world.

Democrats were instrumental in the implementation due to their clear leanings towards control and oppression, but i do agree that they are just pawns in a larger game.
I spent a lot of my early life worried about the Republicans and their clear leanings towards control and oppression. As a Republican, I don't think those fears were misplaced.
I agree with you, though - the clear and present threat to oppression of individual liberty is from the Left - from the Democrats.
But in either case - you're still right. I am far more worried about the forces that manipulate partisan parties toward authoritarianism than the authoritarians, themselves.
Ultimately, I'm pro-Paranoid-Delusions. Anything... any party or philosophy that tries to limit my personal liberties - I'm going to be opposed to. I think I can decide for myself without a bureaucrat 1500 miles away deciding how I should best live my life and what is moral and amoral.
I despise the tendency of Government to decide it knows what is best for me or anyone else.

It shouldn't matter if the left boot or the right boot is on your neck, you should be more worried a boot is on your neck
Most people call that being a libertarian :)
Back as a stupid kid, i thought i was a total anarchist and most government was bad, bla bla. Turns out i was a far-right libertarian instead, and just didnt have the term to use until later in life after i learned enough of what was around me. I do see a need for *some* government: to keep out bad guys, support infrastructure, reign in business fraud, but that is about it. But all i could see was the government around me, and it was unacceptable and thought it all needed to be gone.

Personally i think one side believes its better for you if they control things. The other side, knows its better for them.
Neither is right of course, but at least one isn't intentionally malicious.

I prefer my prison rape analogy.
If I'm going to get prison raped either way, I'd prefer the gentle and romantic cell mate than the brutal shower rape by an angry gang.
So... yeah, there are variations of unpleasant solutions that might make you more concerned about one boot than the other.

I just find it is a particularly vivid analogy when people suggest that two undesirable choices are equal because neither is undesirable.
Sometimes, given the choice of two options of which you would like neither - one is still going to be your preferred option if there is no third choice.

I think it will be appropriate to bring back the Tea Party movement now that Obama's third term is coming. I have already placed a Gadsden Flag sticker on my truck.
Lesser of 2 evils. We make those choices every day.
Often times we get that choice at the ballot box too :)

It may just be the T party this time. If things go south next week in the senate and trump is barred, even if litigation to over turn it fails, he will at the least run the new party, and his son be on the ticket. ( been doing some research, and the wording of the rule implies they cant do it after he leaves. Their jurisdiction is only while he is in office. After that its DOJ's wheelhouse, which is another coming problem for him and his family i am sure, unlike hunter, he got off scott free and i bet is celebrating )
Trump is not going away. He's pissed. whatever is coming, or whatever we call it, he's going to be in charge.
Sun Jan 17 2021 01:10:42 EST from IGnatius T FoobarThe big problem right now is that the Bush crime family and their friends will now attempt to retake control of the Republican party. The democrats are a lost cause, but President Trump (PBUH) was well on the way to reforming the GOP. If we head back to the BushClinton Uniparty, where do libertarian voters go? Certainly not to the Libertarian Party; those people are far-leftists who just want legal drugs.
