And they may figure this models a behavior that if enough ISPs do it - Facebook loses.

Other than, as you say, the ISP waving a guarded middle finger i guess.

While I don't disagree with you - it is so easy for the far Left to spin this into,

"Authoritarian Republicans want to shut down the platforms that give voice to the people, if it proves the people do not agree with Authoritarian Republicans."

And it resonates with the middle of the road.

They don't really experience the kind of targeted harassment, biased rules enforcement, and general disenfranchisement that social media implements against people like us. They think we're paranoid and suffering from persecution complexes.

The Far Left tells them...

"White men are just bitter and afraid because they're losing their power and influence, and see the writing on the wall that their sexism, their racism, their homophobia, their xenophobia, isn't going to be allowed anymore. They're not losing their equality - they're actually going to be equal for the first time, and they're fighting that..."

Then, us "small Government, pro-Capitalist, pro-Private Ownership," Republicans who've been saying, "If a baker doesn't want to make a Bert and Ernie cake, the Government shouldn't be able to compel him to..."

Are now saying, "We need to shut down these private companies that are implementing private policies and Terms of Service to use their private platforms, or regulate them so that they can't be biased!"

And any attempt to try and explain ourselves simply looks like weaseling and backpeddling.

Trump lost. Cheated or not - he didn't have the moves mapped out to be enough steps ahead to overcome the cheat. He did a great job, probably better than anyone else that would have sat in his position did - but he ultimately didn't have the winning hand. We all lost. We didn't convince enough people, we didn't win enough minds.

A lot of the Libertarians who were very pro Jo Jorgensen have come to me and gone, "The libertarian party has totally gone far Left - you're right... you were right... and I see what is happening on the social media platforms, and I think you were right about what the fallout is going to be..." 2A Libertarians who are now going, "I've made a terrible mistake..." on realizing the Democrats now own the Senate, the Congress and the Administrative branches - and what that means.

We've lost. There is unlikely to be a chance to win back. They'll end "gerrymandering" but they'll keep stuffing ballot boxes - there won't be voter registration. Every advantage we had will be dismantled. Every one they have will be reinforced. The implications are stunning.

Facebook is a hundred thousand times more guilty of fomenting violence and hate than President Trump (PBUH) could ever have been even on his worst day.
Twitter too. Both sites should be shut down, data centers burned to the ground, leadership rounded up and charged with sedition. They are the ones guilty of doing what President Trump (PBUH) has been wrongfully accused of.

President Trump (PBUH) made some remarks to reporters today. Again he denounced violence. And MSNBC EDITED THAT PART OUT.

Now... something I've been advocating for a while now...

Within the last few days I got several people suspended or banned from Reddit.

I've been saying things, politely, that I knew would trigger empowered, hostile, harassment from the most outspoken members of the Left. I've then been egging them on, while carefully aware of the limits of what can be said, until they violate the ToS.

Then I report them and block them - so that they can't report me.

You've got to be able to click on the offending message to report a person.

You've got to get them to cross the line, without crossing it yourself, then report and block instantly.

It is THEIR playbook.

They've been doing this in an organized manner, knowing EXACTLY how to work it, for years.

We need to learn how to do it back, and do it effectively, in massive numbers - so that they start feeling as discriminate and powerless on Social Media as they've made us feel.

If I had Soros kind of money, I'd hire trainers and recruit Right activists to do this in an organized kind of manner, and it would work.

If I could call Trump, I'd tell him this is how we even the score.

But I'm just a faceless nobody on a Citadel.

I logged off Reddit today, removed the app.

I thought it might be an alternative. It wasn't. Everything is overrun - there is no balance. I did take several of them out before I left.

I feel a little sorry for AOC. She is naive, and I have no doubt that she would abuse her authority to silence people she disagrees with, given enough power.

But I think she honestly *believes* in her ideology - and that alone makes her a better person than almost anyone else in her party.

Every bad action, every bad thought. They accuse their enemies of the things they most hate and fear in themselves.

At this point does it even matter? No matter what we do, they are going to do that.  "Look, conservatives are using too much air when they breathe when they walk outside". And if they cant find anything they will just make it up.

The battle of the truth is over. we lost.

Now we are fighting to be heard among our selves. And losing that battle too. ( or lost.. not real sure if its over yet but its damned close )

I heard they are trying to get people like Cruz banned from airlines.   So now we cant even "peacefully assemble".

And yet i know people that applaud: "ya, stick it to them".  Morons.

( im honestly about to the point of no longer bothering to listen to current events. Its over and we are fucked ( all of us, the democrat party supporters just dont know it yet ).  Someone let me know before the shooting starts, and where we need to be. )

The leftist citizens that are supporting this are the ones that are going to be most shocked and most fearful when they get what they want.  They will celebrate it until they realize how much damage they did to themselves.

The leftists in power will just laugh.

Welp, mom doesn't think I'm a fascist. But in every other respect, I might as well not have bothered saying a single word to her. Because she thinks I'm engaging in the same things I accuse others of. Whataboutism, indeed.

Nothing more to be said. Not as long as "it's different when we do it". Not as long as people think one day of mild unrest is in any comparable to the last one hundred and sixty of wanton destruction and domestic terror.

I can understand how cognitive dissonance works. I used  to have a friend who was a compulsive liar - and in many cases, it was obvious that his denial was superficial - that he KNEW the truth of a particular situation but could not face up to it. The first time I became aware of it, we were playing around with knives and he cut me to the bone. I told him he had cut me, and he denied it. I held up the open wound, and he turned away, and continued to deny it. I held it up in his face and bent the wound so it opened, allowing him to see bone at the bottom of the wound and he finally relented, responding, "Ok... I cut you! Get that out of my face!"

I was 14, I had a knife wound to the bone, but I was amused and fascinated by the level of his denial - that it was only when I held it right up to his face and basically rubbed his nose in it like a dog that had done something wrong when he would admit to his mistake.

I always considered he was the exception to the rule in society - but perhaps he is the normal one.

I understand you need to have done that being family, but myself, i stopped trying on all fronts.  They are all convinced they are right, and nothing is going to change that.  "we just have to agree to disagree" then i no longer bring it up and if they cant handle that, then i guess we stop talking.

Its unfortunate, but its reality.

That's a deliberate tactic, outlined in Saul Alinsky's "Rules for Radicals."
It was subtle before, but when Barack Obama brought Chicago thug politics to the national stage, it became mainstream. And they're not all that good at hiding it -- but they don't need to.

Think about this: the left's platform and ideology is so bad, so unpalatable, so awful, that even with control of 99% of the media, the internet, and the academy, even with control of most of the inner workings of the deep state swamp, even with partial control of the other party ... they can only get about half of the citizens on board with it.

It's been said that the devil always overplays his hand. Your turn to play, Old Nick.
