Schultz may run just to spoil things. Same as Bloomberg.
If Bloomberg runs, he'll probably be sensible enough to run on one of the major party tickets--most likely Dem. Even though he is somewhat of an independent ideologically.
You're going to say "he's a demokkkrat." Fine, have it your way, but he's among the centrist set that's distressed by the far-left bent the party is taking this cycle.
Every single one of the current likely candidates voted for internet censorship, and I'm kinda tired of it...
So let's see if we've got this straight. With the "Green New Deal"...
1) They'll take 70%+ of my salary in taxes
BUT in return, all of these benefits:
2) I am forced to tear down my house and build a green one (painting it green doesn't count)
3) I can no longer fly
4) I get a government job
5) I have to take the train
6) My electric bill will go up by a factor of 10
7) We get social justice
8) Cows stop farting.
This is *literally* what the demoKKKrats are proposing.
well y'know you don't have to waste your breach so much, since even The Economist agrees the Green New Deal is bogus ;^p
Heh. She's going nowhere fast. Just another in a long series of mcgovern types from the left wing of the dem party
I have been reliably informed by my Communist friend (the only Commie I consider fully human) that Cory Booker, Kamala Harris, Elizabeth Warren and Kristin Gillibrand are all "fake left" and "corporate tools".
Note that this friend still can't believe that he agreed with more than half of the sixteen points of the alt-right.

True fact!
[Bloomberg is] among the centrist set
There are people who believe that anybody to the slight right of Ocasio-Cortez is considered a centrist?
Dude, Bloomberg is worlds apart from Cortez. Yer smoking something.
Also, fuck Klobuchar. I'm still not impressed with one. single. candidate. in this race.

Ocasio-Cortez is considered a centrist?
If we're not there already, we're getting there. The media and Hollywood are aligning with the far-left wackadoodles like Cortez, not with the mostly-left Pelosi set. Ideologically they're probably closer together to each other than they're willing to admit, but some are trying harder to appeal to centrist voters.
There also seems to be a growing sense that they've been calling everyone racists for so long, that an old white guy like Biden doesn't stand a chance with female and non-white voters, while the female and non-white candidates don't stand a chance with the rest of the party. Add in the conflict between the left and far-left wings of the party, and it seems that the only thing they all agree on is that they hate President Trump ... even if they're unable to articulate why. They keep claiming that he's a racist and/or a Russian operative, even though there is no evidence to support either claim.
Obama had a boatload of charisma, was enthusiastically backed by the media, and was running against an idiot. Aside from the media part, those conditions don't seem to be materializing again.
CNN has a "Government shutdown" countdown clock on TV and on their website.
News is entertainment to sell advertising, nothing more.
(He doesn't stand a chance. The leftist media has already decided that KKKamala is the nominee.)
Bernie is too far to the right for the average democrat, he is just appearing to move the party further to the left and prepare for Ocasio-Cortez.
Anyone who is holding target date funds might consider setting the target date as 2024 instead of the year of their retirement. President Cortez will declare a climate emergency on January 21, 2025 and the Dow will go negative for the first time in history on January 22.
