I stated earlier why i questioned your location.  So far you have not proven me wrong. In fact several things have supported this suspicion.

Do a reverse lookup of my ip address. You will find my statements to be true.

I dont think actual trade is killing our US industry. As hinted above, its mostly government regulation, poor schooling and general brainwashing of people into the land of apathy that is killing it. And trade is filling in the gaps being caused.

Wed Jul 17 2024 14:11:15 EDT from SouthernComputerGeek

To be clear, I am not against international trade with friendly nations, but I am against doing it to the point of killing our own domestic industry. You at least need to have something to fall back on.

You do realize that commercial VPN is common place in the world now.  Right?

Some are even free to use. And you always have things like TOR if you are really paranoid due to where you live.

IP address in 2024, is mostly meaningless.

Actually, you would be surprised what is available. Its rather amazing what is offered these days.   Lot of people need to protect themselves from their government. Healthy paranoia.

I just looked at one service I use, and while i cant tell you where in the state from the GUI since they dont go that granular in this case ( in some, you choose city as well as state, but not for that state ), they do have an out-port listed.

Personally i think we should work to build up our local infrastructure, and tear down unneeded regulations that are keeping it down.   Raising the core cost of goods we rely on, in effect, i dont see being a good thing. I dont see a penalization method being as effective.

But to answer your question, unlike some people no i dont freak out when i dont get my way 100%.  I may state my opposition, but i dont melt down and scream at the sky.

I should have known he wasn't actually going to play spoiler for New Jersey. The Dems are corrupt, but they are loyal to their twisted cause.

Which character was that?

Anyway, I think they still have that Song of the South attraction, which come s from a movie that otright romantizes slavery.

Sorry the other 1/2 of my paste seems to have not made it to the post.  Operator Error.

Liver Lips McGrowl, one of the 18 animatronic bears of the “Country Bear Jamboree” at Magic Kingdom, will not be making his grand return alongside the other robotic mammals when the attraction reopens Wednesday after a seven-month hiatus.

( and oddly, i pasted that as plain text but it still retained font size of something like 30 so had to edit the html..  thought that way of paste stripped out all that garbage..at least it seemed to have in the past  *shrug*. and strangely this text is larger than the first line.. also typed not pasted. going to be one of them days i suspect )

Why do so many modern "conservative" writers hate on Ronald Reagan? Why do they act like he and the Bushes are the same? So many of Trump's supporters hate on Reagan, even though Trump praised Reagan, proving they do not know squat about Reagan or Trump. And I do not understand the new "anti-war" "conservatives." I do not think we should get involved in every conflict without a plan like neoconservatives, but that does not mean we should never help out our allies like the paleo-conservatives would not. Trump is the reasonable middle ground between paleo-conservatism and neo-conservatism, and I fear what may happen when he is gone. I hope Trump endorses DeSantis or *maybe* Youngkin as his successor in 2028, or we will have a mess.

Because they are in name only.

Both parties have changed over the decades.  For the worst. But many of the outsiders, like media and writers and activists, moved even further away from the roots of their respective parties.

Vance is milquetoast as a dissident, but choosing him does not pander to identity politics or the neoliberal/neocon power structure. Certainly he can always turn fink once elected, that happens all the time. But for all the grifters and black pillers whining about his Indian wife and his Conservative Inc background and support (Peter Thiel, et al), Vance is a huge middle finger to the blue-haired barista crowd and to the Washington Powers that Would Be.

Disney World's descent into sucktitude goes back at least as far as when they changed the Pirates of the Carribean ride so that the sailors were chasing after plates of food being carried by the wenches instead of the wenches themselves.

And when they messed up the Enchanted Tiki Room -- that is when they sentenced themselves to doom the moment Zombie Walt comes back to unleash hell on them.

If you're going to log in to Uncensored over a darknet, may I humbly suggest I2P instead of Tor. We have a dedicated connection into that network. (uncensored.i2p)

Right, i was just being generic regarding VPN type stuff.  i2p isn't so great at general net access. ( not looked for a long time, but i think the outports are long gone )

There's a new one on the block called StormyCloud. I haven't tried it myself, so I can't say much for the user experience.
