VP pick:  JD Vance.

Don't know a thing about him.  Someone said he was pro 2A.    I do know hes from Ohio, trying to win over the Midwestern vote.  Still a professional politician, but at least not one like Pence.

I guess time will tell.

Dunno much about Vance but I'm sure the subhuman scum in the media will immediately work up a narrative about how he's a racist or something.

Thankfully, Mr. Trump's two terms are not consecutive, so he doesn't have to drag along that communist democrat scumbag Pence along for another term.

Reagan and Trump both made the same mistake of selecting a swamp dwelling scumbag as their running mate. Bush tried to have Reagan killed. Pence made sure Trump didn't get a second consecutive term. Trump won't make the same mistake again.

"“While we may disagree, we are not enemies. We are neighbors, friends, co-workers, citizens, and – most importantly – we are fellow Americans. We must stand together,”

Ummmm last week it was still Trump and MAGA are a "threat to the soul of the nation" or "threat to democracy" ( which we dont have at a federal level, we are a Republic.. but a rant for another day )

Democrats now have to face the fact that Trump is literally Hitler and also they're glad Hitler is OK and they wish him a fast recovery.

Didn't take long, tho starting with his family:

"Who is Usha Vance? JD Vance’s wife is a lawyer and daughter of immigrants. Donald Trump’s VP pick, JD Vance, is married to an Indian American woman with a history of voting in Democratic primaries."

Now the are bringing back comments he made years ago as clear sarcasm/satire, and taking them out of context to try to rake him over the coals with it.

Yep, its started .  lol.

Sure, seems legit but this story seems really off.  "Masked man with AK-47 and full magazine arrested outside RNC"

Carrying around a AK in a clearly tactical bag in an area that would be heavy with police. Just seems odd. Big old sign "hey, look at me, arrest me".   I heard ski mask too, not a typical sheep covid mask.

( and lol on the 'fully loaded magazine'.. spin it we must )

John Stossel and his free trade absolutist idiocy: https://www.johnstossel.com/destructive-ideas/

The idea of a tariff sounds good. Protect American businesses from foreigners! Protect American workers from cheap foreign labor!

That’s the seen benefit for Americans.

The unseen harm is worse.

Ah, yes, "believe what I say over your lying eyes."

Then Biden took office and slapped a 100% tariff on Chinese electric vehicles.

Now Trump says, if elected, he’ll impose the tariff on all Chinese cars.

China is a hostile nation, John, we should not be doing ANY business with it.

Yet another reason I am not a libertarian.

Ok, start with yourself then.  Get rid of everything you own with Chinese ties.

I'm waiting.

Reality is today we live in a world economy/industry/whatever. This is not the 1800s. Unless you want to go live in a cave, in the dark, and eat bugs, it will remain as such.  And yes, i will agree that needing to do business with nations that dont like us complicates matters. But its not as simple as you may think it is.

What a stupid faggot. We did not do trade with communist China until the 1990s. Far cry from "the 1800s". You are really proving you are an idiot.

Should not be any surprise as Disney lost its way long ago, but one still has to shake their head at the depths they keep sinking to every time they do something..

"Disney World has removed a beloved character that has been a staple at the amusement park for over 50 years as the character was deemed “insensitive and outdated” — and could offend alcoholics."

Congrats, you totally missed the point, re-read my sentence again and you will see i was talking about world economy, not just doing trade with China  But, that does not surprise me, most people who live in a hate-box echo chamber cant see past their preconceptions and read into everything what they expect to see.

And if calling me childish names is supposed to do something, sorry, doesn't work on me.  Will have to try something else.

Oh and if you want to toss around dates, 1990s is not accurate. Myself, i was personally trading in Chinese grey-market items in the 1980s, and that was not a new thing.    Back then grey-market was where a factory making X branded product would hold back a %, and sell them at a reduced price with no-name, or even your own brand name. But same product as the 'big guys', and not 'cheap clones' like you get now.

Also i see you failed to cut yourself off from all Chinese tied products. you still have your modern digital device, since you posted. Eat your own dog food, or stop telling others to eat it. ( we also call that hypocrisy where i come from. Not sure what you call it on the Russian southern border )

If Americans had a free trade absolutist trade policy during WW2 the Axis would have eaten us for breakfast. America runs out of supplies and the Axis conquers the world.

To be clear, I am not against international trade with friendly nations, but I am against doing it to the point of killing our own domestic industry. You at least need to have something to fall back on.
