I've been reading this message over and over again and meaning to come back to it to figure out what that refers to. But I'm still without a clue. Help me out here?
I keep forgetting to view this. I expect the music is atrocious, and the video itself typical of low-budget propagandism, but knowing it to be one country's favored video lends a measure of curiosity to the whole thing.

Every bit as bad as expected.
Supposedly, Hyon Song-wol (the lady featured in the video) had an affair or somesuch with the current leader of North Korea. There was a rumor that she had been executed for debauchery or somesuch in a kind of purging of actors and actresses, but then she showed up in a video, wishing she could do more for North Korea.
This amuses me.
In 1992, the group Nice & Smooth sampled the intro from the Partridge Family's "I Think I Love You" in their rap hit, "Hip Hop Junkies."
(At least, according to Wikipedia... I haven't heard the rap tune yet).
That just makes me laugh.
I'd rather watch that, and be entertained by the campy value, than most of the overproduced drek that passes for our own music/video culture.

I saw this elsewhere and promptly ignored it. Your comment got me wondering so I searched the name, which lead to other questions, "What is 'Dream Theater'?" and "What songs did they do?"
wrong tempus. Was awesome. The guy you can see in the video, petruci, isn't a Dreamtheater member anymore. The quality declined with Petruci being massively owerworked, and when he said they should pause for a year to regain old strength the others decided to continue without him.
