What is really interesting is how many people believe that Facebook and the Internet, since they are separate apps on their phone believe that the two are completely unrelated.

I remember when I thought that the AOL branded "free" floppies were pretty
cool for free storage... they were usually 720k instead of 1.44MB as I remember
though.
Facebook is not the Internet. Facebook is a cancer upon the Internet and
it should be removed.
Facebook... is a disease.
So is Facebook the disease, or does it just expose the symptoms that were hidden before? Don't get me wrong, I abhore even the thought of getting on facebook because I don't believe that any intelligent human would use it.
When facebook first came out, I did enjoy using it because it was the easiest way to get in touch with old classmates I had not heard from since graduation.
I just wonder if Facebook does a really good job of exposing humanities worst... or dumbest. Maybe where Facebook contributes most to the problem is by making it look ok to be stupid because so many others are just as dumb and if everyone else is just a dumb or dumber, there is no incentive for improvment.
You are correct. Facebook seems to have a knack for bringing out the worst
in everyone. And I think it's intentional.
I know that i'm selling my soul by using facebook, but they got a good mobile client -- even on symbian. :)
