Hear me out ... The Walmart 500! All the cameras are already installed to broadcast it. We can get all those arrow stickers that they had during Covid and mark out the course. I'm sure we can get sponsorships for this. Yuge numbers!

Wal-Mart needs bigger aisles to accommodate all of the fat people in scooters.

About lost a 14 year old girl here in my state. Kidnapped, to be tossed into the sex traffic arena.  You get one guess by whom. yes illegals. Only reason they got her back is they were sloppy and didn't take her phone first.  ( several states away, im sure heading back towards the border, or freaking California, as it was west of us )  That will start changing and we are going to lose a lot of our children due to this invasion Biden and his team have brought upon us.

and i do realize its only one of many, but i can still pissed off, and glad she made it home in one piece.

My family was pressing me a bit to take some vacation, so obviously I visited a zoo today.

The zoo belongs to a rich dude who runs it as a private operation for the lols. There was a nice pen full of Przewalskis. One of their stallions was isolated in a separate pen with a sign: "Agressive moody stallion, DO NOT PET". Obviously, I reached in and petted him good. He liked it lots.

A tourist then thought it was a good idea to try and reached in too. The Przewalski bit him. This comes to show he is a smart boy.

Fun part is I found the rich guy who runs the zoo sharing crumbs with the birds. Apparently he spends as much time as he can there. He obviously asked me which country I am from. When I told him, he answered: "Oh. Did you know they tried to kidnap me last time I was there?"

I want to be like this guy when I grow up. He is signing up for every wildlife conservation program he can just because it is fun and somehow the whole thing seems profitable enough.

It was also fun to notice many birds in the zoo exhibited as novelties when I have so many of them living in my barns back at home hahahahaha.

Today I visited some museums with reproductions of prehistoric paintings. A lot of that stuff is better than modern art. I liked the horse paintings. I hope they painted them because they liked horses rather than because they liked their taste :-P

The last time i went to the art museum, there was this blank wall, and off to one side, a mop bucket.     To this day i don't know if it was just being cleaned up or if that was the art..

Another room, was just stuffed donkeys.. Nothing more, nothing less. About 20 of them in a row.  And not good ones.    And yet another room, wooden boxes over the walls, floors and ceiling. With a drum sound coming from them, randomly.

This museum also used to have real art, like marble statues and real paintings.

Please, tell me that a stuffed donkey in this context is a "Teddy donkey" rather than a donkey they killed and then stuffed :(

It is funny because there was a quote at the entrance of the museum I visited. "Prehistoric paintings were top art. Everything afterwards was just decadence" (or something like that).

I once went to a wax museum where all of the exhibits were candles.  It was enlightening.  Jack jumped over quite a lot.

Such relief :)

Today my father tried to drag me to the beach but I went do some sightseeing instead. I actualy ended up doing more donkeyseeing and cowseeing than anything.

If you are still in the US I bet there are enough ladies so big you could mistake them for one.

They had some Buffalos in the zoo I visited. There was a very friendly one who had an itch and clearly wanted me to help him with it. Too bad the fencing there didn t allow it.

Actually, the security in that zoo seemed even more third-worldly than I was expecting. With the exception of the the pens for really powerful and bad-mooded animals, there were not many measures in place for preventing people from reaching into. Some areas had warning signs ("These birds peck and tear fingers!") but people was still reaching for the birds and getting pecked.

Oh, I see you have been to New Jersey! You're pretty much on the mark with that one.

Actually, the rich guy who runs the zoo is very much what I want to be when I grow into grandparentness. You should have seen him getting close to the ape area. "I am sure I have some peanuts here to share. Oh, damn, I think I gave too many to the squirrels. I am going back for more, see you later." Hahahahahahaha.

I have been wondering what would be required for me to incorporate as an associate. I would not mind having Przewalskiis or Zebras and I already have good infrastructure. I could probably have some nice reproduction groups for wildlife conservation projects going. Not that I think that's is gonna happen because I doubt there is a way for me to be licensed for such thing around here.

Are there grants available for rehab centers? I'm sure you are familiar with the Urban Rescue Ranch and would be sooooo happy doing something like that.

Actually I am not aware of what Urban Rescue Ranch is. It has Urban in its name so it is unlikely to be that great.

TBH I have ties with veterinaries and researchers and University departments so I should get some research going after the end of my vacation.

That was going to be my question. We have several 'animal oriented' things in local universities ( since this state is still considered semi-rural, for now ).  And of course any of the vets that handle 'farm' animals would know.

And perhaps farm co-ops.

Perhaps even a call to FFA...
