Agreed! I am ready for Spring.

Well I like winter myself. But I live in Mississippi; I suppose you have much harsher winters in New York.

Last few winters here have sucked. Hardly enough snow to shovel the sidewalk ( not enough to bother with the driveway ). Nowhere near enough for my blower.  Not sure i closed my windows more than a couple of days.

Mid 20s, 4" of snow. Perfect day. 

Today: 52, overcast, slight breeze. Perfect summer weather. 

Dog social tonight. 1/2 the dogs ditched their owners and walked with me. Was surrounded by 6+ dogs. Rather funny. Pretty common for me for some reason.

Animals tend to like me. Even wild ones.

I must smell or something. I donno.

Many many years ago i went to meet a friend at her place the first time.  "Watch the dog, he hates men, ill put him away if we need to"  Big old German Shepard.

Only when im home and work isn't busy. its not lately.. I am still in a holding pattern, basically keeping the lights on, just waiting for our contract to be signed. THEN the work overload happens for the next 9+ months and you wont see me but on weekends .. On days i go into the office,  you get a good day delay before i can read anything.

Hi - I've been away for a while, but I figured I'd stop in and say hi. 
Modiin, where I live, is relatively safe - only two rocket alerts here since Oct 7. 
We hear interceptions from the rest of the area pretty frequently, and it's nerve wracking. 
Oddly, life is mostly continuing as normal-ish. 

My kids (16, 14, 9) are back in school pretty much full time, but i'm driving them everywhere so I can feel calm about them not being stuck outside alone if there's a siren. 

My husband's oldest (26) got married about 2 years ago, moved to florida, and had a baby at the beginning of Sept. My husband was supposed to be going to meet our granddaughter on Sunday, but that's not really feasible right now because the kids emotionally a mess. 

I have 6 nephews currently in  uniform, and I worry about them all... constantly. Well, ok, maybe not the one who does computers, but the other 5...

Morale in  Israel is actually decent - we'd had a very big political divide, and nothing reduces political differences like an existential threat.

I've been moving between depression, hyper-alertness, and trying to be practical and functional. 
in short. I'm alive. Hi folks.
