Rumor of executive order in the next day or two:

"if you sell a firearm for more than 1 dollar than you paid, you must
register as an FFL"  Which of course imposes a fee and you must
agree to all the intrusive infringements that go along with it..

Oh, how glorious it would be to see the FFL subjected to the Bruen standard.

Dont hold your breath tho.

At this point there is only one thing that will stop the corruption. And i dont see that happening.

FRT Ban may be going down in flames.

Federal judge allowed an injunction to stop ATF from enforcement as its an over reach of their jurisdiction  ( only applies to those that filed the case, but its still the right direction )

So the real question is: when the ban is shot down for all of us, how many do I need?

Coming new rule announced to mandate universal background checks on nearly every sale as  nearly everyone is now a gun dealer if you sell anything.  Must register as a FFL and any sale you make now has to have a background check. ( and of course, universal record keeping )

About the only exceptions will be hobby relics or to family members. For now.

Might get struck down, might not. But its coming.

If you store ANY explosive material you have to report it to your local government every year. That means ammo...

While i agree it could be far-reaching ("did you register that gas grill there, serf, err citizen?" ), i doubt the ATF cares about most of it.  They just want our defenses, the rest, if it blows up your house, they dont really care.

Dont worry, they know about that already. They get all gas purchase records in the country fed to them. ( including cameras, for those that use cash )

Smokeless powder doesn't explode, it burns. Not within ATFE's purview, they can fuck themselves.

ATF won the next round on FRTs.

Expect letters soon. ( if you have one and the sale is traceable )

"All private gun sales will stop on 12/7/2023. On that day, the ATF’s new definition of “dealer” goes into effect. If you sell any firearm for more than you paid for it, you are now a gun dealer and must have an FFL. Considering the ATF’s habit of scanning and keeping 4473’s, this is nothing more than registration, and registration ALWAYS leads to confiscation."

Even if they were not yet scanning, they require you to fill them out and keep them for at least a decade after you close shop and can be ordered on a case-by-case basis to show them, so the data is there, waiting to be used.  Also, I *think* ( i could be wrong just what i heard, not verified ) you have to turn them in when you close.

But, regardless, you have to keep track, and they can always change the rules later: "New rule, turn in ALL your forms. NOW. And we know who you are." ( since you are registered AND i do believe they keep NICS background check records forever now, as that was determined not to fall under the 'no registry' rule since it does not have make/model/serial )

And dont forget, fees to resister and other rules instantly go into effect, effecting your "place of business"  ( ie your private residence )

Oh and if the election goes bad, you can expect the confiscation to begin late 2024 while they are still in control.  "gotta get it done, NOW".    Sure might get over turned, depending on who is in office next, but it could take decades..  or longer, and the guns are gone at that point. So society collapses into chaos..

I wonder what happens if the winner of the election commits suicide just before taking office in January. Does the runner up get the seat? Even if its a different party? Or is it the VP on the winning ticket?  What if they do to?  ( just random thoughts and too lazy to look them up :) )

An early test for bigger things to come i suspect:

"Late Friday, anti-gun Governor Michelle Lujan Grisham announced that she will attempt to institute and enforce an unconstitutional 30-day ban on open and concealed carry of firearms in public places in Bernalillo County. She apparently intends to accomplish this by administrative fiat under the guise of a public health emergency"

Wow, the ignorance and clickbait attempts on thsi subject is mind boggling

"She suspended the constitution she should be arrested" "bla bla"

No, she didnt. She restricted carry in public areas, for a specific time period. That is it.  And she declared an emergency first, which gives governors ( and presidents ) expanded power to do restrict rights.

Do i agree with it? No. But its well within her right as a governor, and im sick of the idiots who are lying about what took place to get people wound up.

But is there anything in the constitution that allows this?
