It gets even stupider:

A highly organized anti-Semitic hate group called "The United Nations" tried to pass a resolution declaring that Israel cannot decide where its own capital is, and that the United States cannot recognize that decision by moving its embassy there.

The United States responded by basically telling "The United Nations" to go shit in its hat.

"What we witnessed here in the Security Council is an insult. It won't be forgotten," U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations Nikki Haley said after the vote, adding that it was the first veto cast by the United States in more than six years.

"The fact that this veto is being done in defense of American sovereignty and in defense of America's role in the Middle East peace process is not a source of embarrassment for us; it should be an embarrassment to the remainder of the Security Council," Haley said.

The U.N. draft resolution affirmed "that any decisions and actions which purport to have altered the character, status or demographic composition of the Holy City of Jerusalem have no legal effect, are null and void and must be rescinded in compliance with relevant resolutions of the Security Council."

Hahaha! Israel has blocked the known terrorist jihadis Ilhan Omar and Rashida Tlaib from entering their nation. Good for them.

Oh, wow. It makes sense, but doesn't that cause a diplomatic mess? Unless this eople is not on official mission to Israel I guess.
This reminds me of this rap singer who was from Israel, and was invited to a concert somewhere in Europe. The organizer of the event got pressure from anti Israel lobbies, who didn't want this guy to perform unless he publicly declared his opinions regarding the Israel - Palestine conflict. The guy obviously didn't comply and they didn't let him sing in there.

The people who call themselves "Palestinians" aren't even real Palestinians.
I prefer to refer to them as Philistines. They may or may not be the biological successors to the Philistines in the Old Testament, but they're *definitely* the political and spiritual successors to them.

They are Arabs, plain and simple. Most are simply Jordanian.

Too bad Jordan didn't let very many of them in. Yes. Israel lets Jewish refugess in. Arab states don't. That's cynical exploitation of this population, analgous to Hamas' human shields.

However, as a matter of fact, these people have become stateless. And there's a lot of them. Ragnar's rejectionist rhetoric doesn't help combat the narrative that Israel simply wants the erasure of Palestinians.

Well, it stands to reason that if the Philistines want to lay claim to part of Jerusalem, the Jewish people should also have claim to part of Mecca. Fair is fair.

Israel is perfectly willing to have a state, as long as that state does not have any military, and does not encourage killing of Jews. Prior to 1987 (the first intifada) the "Palestinians" held Jordanian citizenship and enjoyed pretty much free travel within Israel, as well as jobs and other forms of economic cooperation.

Unfortunately, when they decided to start killing Israelis, things got kind of gnarly.

There are lots of Arabs who are Israeli citizens. These particular Arabs are stateless by chocie.

They were promised that if they left, the Arabs would flatten Israel in 1948, and then they could take it all over.

Israel begged them to stay put and not fight.

Those who stayed put on the "Israel" side of the green line are Israeli citizens today.

Read up on the village of Abu Ghosh for a fantastic example.

But there are Arab citizens in Jaffa, Ramleh (not Ramallah), Lod, Nazareth, and any number of other Israeli cities.

Unfortunately, where "Palestinian" leadership has been in charge, Christian Arabs are no longer welcome - like Bethlehem.

Ugly shit at Vassar college today. Violent hate speech by SJP'ers. I'm basically nauseated; this is not the Vassar that several members of this BBS spent time on in the early aughts.

As I've suggested before, they're more "Philistines" than "Palestinians" ... if not in terms of direct descendence (which is quite possible), then definitely in spirit.

I'm more interested in why these "students" care so much about the Philistines, though. Do they really think they're supporting some sort of global justice cause, or are they just garden-variety anti-semites?
