For those of you who are not hip and trendy, my Gen-Z daughter tells me that "yeet" is a verb which basically means to throw, lob, chuck, etc. something at someone. An example would be the way that you yeet a torch into the window of a car that has been doused in gasoline, to start the fire.

In other news, I upgraded the Citadel software running here on Uncensored today. There are no visible changes to the user interface. One thing you could take note of, if you wanted to, is that user names are no longer sensitive to any characters except for letters and numbers. So, for example, the following strings will all map to my account:
IGnatius T Foobar
ignatiustfoobar
iGn Atiu.S-Tf oo-bar
ignatius.t.foobar
ignatius_t_foobar

The reason for this is to give each user a consistent "principal identity" (for example: fredbloggs@example.com) which may or may not be their email address, but will always be their identity on certain other protocols. For example, it makes it much easier to sign in to a Citadel system using XMPP because you always know what your identity is.

XMPP isn't that important, but in the future we will be aiming to join the fediverse using protocols such as ActivityPub, and we need consistent user principal identities.

Does the software prevent someone from creating the account "ignatiustfoobar"?

Where is that damned zombie? He hasn't been here since before Halloween.
I hope he didn't get unwillingly cast in a remake of "Thriller". Speaking of which, why isn't Michael Jackson *making* a remake of Thriller now that he's actually dead?

He wanted to but he requested a cast of all under the age of seven years old males to play all the parts.  He insisted that all the boys touch his exposed bone.

Hollywood wasn't against the idea, it just ranked poorly when they test marketed it.

Snow day!!! But ... I don't see any snow. The snowblower is fueled up and ready to go, and unlike the last snow storm, I'm NOT out of town this time.
So what happened?

Well here it is , that December 25 type of day during which some celebrate Christmas, and others celebrate the pagan holiday Saturnalia while calling it Christmas. Others are currently celebrating Chanukah, and that's pretty cool too.

So, since our resident zombie is currently missing in action for some reason, I leave you all with the following musical greeting. Listening is mandatory.

The new decade starts next year, 2021.  (Next year I will say it started in 2020.)

Remember it will be the last year you can make 20/20 vision jokes.
