We have a kinder and gentler DAP now. Welcome back, and die in a car fire all over again. Nice to see you.

I'd rather have a bottle in front of me, that a frontal lobotomy.

Spekaing of which, why the fuck did it take this long for someone to tell me a crushed Jolly Rancher in Zima is amazing? Oh, yeah. Not gay. Apparently it was a gay bar thing around here back when Zima was a thing (I still have a couple in my fridge).

I drank Zima back in the 1990s and I'm not ashamed of it.  Do they still make Zima?  I haven't seen it on shelves.

I did, too. They made a big deal about re-releasing it a year or so ago, which is why I bought some. Not sure about now.

The city I grew up in was a test market for Zima when it was first created, I was at a wedding reception, the bar had an inexpensive promotional price and the wedding was chugging it down.

I am so glad I am one of those people that doesn't need an alarm to wake up, that I wake up on my own about 5am each morning.  OR SHOULD I SAY *FOUR* a.m.?

fucking a, I hate the time change.

I bought one of those alarm clocks that gradually lightens up before actually hitting the alarm. The controls for setting it sucks, but I wake up much nicer now than before. It doesn't help my wife, though - she sleeps through light.

You can just get a pair of horses too. They will start calling you if you are a minute late for serving their breakfast. I am no longer worried of my alarm dying on me or the betteries running out hahaha.

*yawn*

This year I trained and volunteered to be an election inspector. 5:30am to after 9:00pm. Even after a full night's sleep afterwards, I'm still pretty tired. I don't know how the 120+ year old people who make up most of the group do it.

Did you training involve the words, "I am not sure, let me ask someone else"?

No, I *was* "someone else". I had possession of the "Ask ED" device (which the 120 year old women insisted on calling "Mr. Ed") that contains the database of registered voters and what district each one lives in.

It was an iPaq running Windows CE.

You know you can run Linux on iPaq, I would suggest you convert them on your downtime.

Yes, I'm sure it would be a great stride in the battle for PDA OS supremacy.

That is not the point, you would be educating the voting district on the wonders of Linux.
