Crock Pot Pulled Pork is *not* kosher ... unless it is served by someone riding a Segway.

How else would you serve it?

I wonder if limberger goes well on hamburger.

Hm.

Ask Neil but I am not sure he will like it.

I think I might prefer lamburger.

(Note to self: don't let the vegetarian contribute ideas to the burger menu)

Actually I've had pigs-in-blankets made with veggie dogs (my best friend is a vegetarian so things like that happen a lot) -- it was actually pretty good.

So no pig?
Was the blanket organically made?

I thought pigs in a blanket was sausage and pancakes.

Heh... 'sausage and panache'.

In the US, pigs-in-blankets are bite size hot dogs wrapped in pastry dough and served as hors d'ouvres, preferably with brown mustard.

I know them as "Würstchen im Schlafrock", "Sausage in a night gown".

The Ihop disagrees with you.

If GIS is any indication, pigs in a blanket is about 97% wieners in dough as compared to sausages wrapped in pancakes.  I'll eat them either way.

I need ideas on how to make rice yummy. I bought a rice cooker, finally, and I even bought some rice.

I've always enjoyed a nice meal with beans and rice.

Buy quality rice. I prefer basmati (what you typically get at Indian resturaunts).
Adding a cardamon pod (1, whole) can add a nice flavor. I also like to add some oil and salt to the cooking. Most rice cooks at 2:1 water:rice, but basmati cooks at 3:2.

Oh, I agree about basmati. I won't buy any other rice.
