"Israeli forces fire at UN peacekeeper positions in south Lebanon, peacekeepers say" And? Those fascist 'world order' pushing blue helmets should be used for target practice.  Good on the Israelis, if true and not just more propaganda.

Works for me. The UN is a global terrorist organization and it has no right to exist. Now let's take care of that UN building in New York.

NATO needs to go too.

Weenies:

"Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian said in July that Iran does not seek a wider war in the Middle East and that such a conflict would have no winners, something Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi echoed last week, saying "if a major war breaks out in the region, America will be dragged into it, which is something we do not want."

Who wants to bet that if everything fails and Trump officially wins in a couple of weeks and they cant deny/derail, Biden doesn't push the button soon after ( figuratively speaking ) so Trump comes into office in a middle of a total disaster, then the Ds blame him?

AND the get to be even more draconian for the remainder of the term. 'we are in war ya know, gimme your rights, damned serfs'

Next time they should send a few extra and drop a few in Iraq along the way.

"The U.N. Security Council will meet Monday to discuss Israel's attack on Iran. The Swiss U.N. mission said the meeting had been requested by Iran with the support of Algeria, China and Russia. Iraq has submitted a complaint to the U.N. over Israel's use of its airspace in the attack."

Really sick of the bias too:

"The Palestinian death toll since the Israeli invasion of Gaza has surpassed 43,000, and more than 100,000 have been wounded, the Hamas-run Gaza Health Ministry said."

Israel was invaded. Anything that came after that is them protecting themselves in retaliation.

the same people that complain about 43,000-ish collateral damage casualties never say a peep about the real bad actors, like al-Assad.

Actually, the early 2000s would have been a great time to bring Russia in because the Westerns and Russia had a common enemy that needed dealing with: Islam. In fact Putin has mentioned this one or more times (just with more careful, political words). NATO existed back in the day to fend off the Soviet Union, therefore it makes no sense after the fall of the Soviet Union. It could have repurposed itself to fend off Islam but for some reason they chose to keep fending off Russia.

Russia is not straightforwardly an enemy of Islam. They're deeply embedded in the Middle East, most obviously via their support for al-Assad, who is an ally of Hezbollah. Basically, Russia just wants geopolitical control and client states. Although they do have that long-running conflict with the Chechens.

Russia's propaganda machine also basically invented modern antizionism.

Good for the Israelis.

"The legislation includes two complementary bills that were passed one after the other: one from the coalition, which received overwhelming support with 92 votes in favor and only 10 against, and another from the opposition, which also received a significant majority of 87 votes. Both bills seek to terminate an agreement established in 1967 that allowed UNRWA to operate in Israel and to sever all relations between UNRWA and the Jewish state, including diplomatic visas granted to UNRWA workers and other services provided by the state of Israel."

And so freaking what?  ( oh ya, they support terrorist organizations.. )

"This decision comes despite significant objections from the Biden-Harris administration, which has expressed deep concern that the legislation could force UNRWA to cease all operations in Gaza, the West Bank and East Jerusalem"

Didn't the US freeze funding to UNRWA anyway (genuine question--I haven't been following that situation as closely as I should)

Taxpayer dollars should not be going to an organization that mainly serves to make the conflict permanent, and which uses textbooks created by the Palestinian Authority that are filled with antisemitic content *even in math and science subjects.*

Word problems are like "Benny the Jew has 10 fingers. How many does he have left after Hamid blows off 9 with a grenade? Hurr hurr hurr."

All that being said, the surrounding Arab nations--Egypt especially, but also Lebanon and maybe Jordan--are using the refugees as pawns to perpetuate the conflict. This poses a very real dilemma and the solution is not as simple as "end UNRWA" because the world will demand that UNRWA be replaced.

I believe we did, for a short time period, and not a permanent thing. until 2025 or 2026 rings a bell without looking.

But just because we pulled it, does not mean the other socialist countries did. Plenty of cash flow even without us.
