Well, I'm not going to be around this weekend, have a reunion thingamajig to go to, but I'd like to contribute the following:
Obliterating you, obviously.
The idea was to simply select two words and post them over and over again.
And you posted the first word: "OBLITERATE"
I posted the second word: "FORD"
And it went on from there. It went on for a number of days, if I remember correctly. And it became part of our collective history/gestalt/gags/etc
Now that I think about it, there is a person whose *real* name is Ford who I *would* like to obliterate. But y'all don't know him so that's a discussion for another time and place.
Gerald Ford is already dead, though.
That one's probably easier to obliterate then, I imagine...
Gerald Ford somehow missed your notice? The president that followed Nixon?
Hey, if Bill Clinton can forget sex, why can't Ford II forget Gerald Ford?
I always loved their reverse chocolate cookies. Chocolate cookie batter with milk & white chocolate chunks. I've tried to reproduce it a few times with limited success.
I know the shop closed down many years ago, but I was hoping someone in the area might remember more about them or what might have happened to the owners.
I'd love to get a recipe for these cookies!
Maybe try the Neiman-Marcus $250 cookie recipe [ http://www.neimanmarcus.com/store/service/nm_cookie_recipe.jhtml ] and add cocoa powder to the recipe, and substitute the correct type of chunks[A ??
So this time I'm in Chicago. Or rather Lincolnshire, which is about an hour outside of Chicago. For at least another two weeks.
Anybody else out this way?
