That was strange, Google Chrome put up an error page saying the page was unsafe but posed the video. I blame Facebook, IREregardless of it being a google issue.
So, how about that Cat5e hurricane? Wind speeds of ONE BEEEEEELION
MPH
...and another one! BEEEEEELIONS of hurricanes!
And yet it's still a slow news week, despite the rampaging mobs.
The police where I live managed to put this guy in jail.
The guy forced himself into his former girlfriend's home, despite her restrainer order against him, and announced his intentions to kill her if she wouldn't reconcile the relationship. Oh, and if anyone calls the cops, he'll just shoot everyone (her parents were there, too).
Because nothing says "I love you" quite like the threat of violence.
He had a knife to her throat when the police managed to burst in and wrestle it away from him. Somehow, nobody got hurt.
Of course, the *really* cool thing here is that he's now famous. Or, at least, he has made the new:

My little hometown has all grown up now. Something like this doesn't really bat an eye here. It isn't like I know this guy. Never saw or heard of him before. I don't even recognize the photo. I might now.
This middle east shit has been going on for decades. It started long before the hostage crisis under the Carter Administration. Before the Shah of Iran, etc.
Recently:
Iran attacked some of our people.
The USA attacks the Iranian militia.
Iran attacks the U.S. embassy.
The USA assassinates one of Iran's top generals.
and here we are.
Fri Jan 03 2020 05:51:49 PM EST from IGnatius T FoobarCan anyone explain what just happened in Iran, without putting any spin on it? All of the stories I can find in the news are written from the perspective of what the writer thinks of the commander in chief. What *actually* happened over there?
People who did not need to die, did.
A particular man was killed by drone, another man claimed this to be a victory, in spite of the fact that the dead man will simply be replaced by another man.
Net Gain for the US in the Middle East at best equals Zero, and probably less.
not certain - their culture values strength. Without a show of strength, America won't be respected by Iran.
