I prefer to get my misinformation from the greys.

Is it just me, or is Matt Drudge losing his touch? Admittedly I like my news with a conservative perspective, but lately it seems that Drudge Report's knack for figuring out which stories matter long before anyone else, has been replaced by a penchant for telling us about how soon we will all be having sex with robots.

Lately I've found myself starting my day with Breitbart instead.

Really?  I thought he was dead, but if you are into that sort of thing.

Yes, I have noticed Drudge's selection of stories has worsened.   Maybe he is hiring the best lackeys .

You're thinking of Andrew Breitbart, who died a couple of years ago. Matt Drudge is very much alive.
Also, according to http://www.abevigoda.com , Abe Vigoda is still dead.

Spinn updated abevigoda.com within five minutes of the death.

He's that good.

...and yet he hasn't updated amusing.org in almost three years.

He ought to give the domain to us.

Maybe, although I'm not sure I'd want that domain, specifically, since it has languished for so long.

Maybe we should build something ourselves?

I don't see anything wrong with that.

It's a low-speed police chase of a white vehicle in California.

The sequel to OJ Simpson?

I can't take my eyes off this. #SloMoChase

Supposedly the suspect is armed-and-dangerous, and there are four police cruisers chasing him (or her or it or whatever), but he refuses to commit any traffic violations. Driving under the speed limit, using turn signals, stopping at red lights.

Every now and then he comes to a stop, the police all get out of their cars, and he starts up again.

BORING.  The guy stopped at blocked traffic, got out of the car and surrendered peacefully.

I was really hoping that he would jump out of the car and try to outrun them on foot, and then the empty car would explode, etc. etc.

I was unaware there have been other greyhound drug cases.

Big train wreck in the news today ... the Amtrak "Cascades" train ran off the rails, went off an overpass and crashed onto an interstate highway.

There are, unfortunately, a number of casualties. Since this happened in Seattle, I am declaring Bill Gates and Jeff Bezos *directly* responsible.

Around here, we like to greet people by telling them to "Die in a Car Fire"

But over on the west coast, tens of thousands of acres are burning in a wildfire right now, a disaster which is being called the "Carr Fire" for reasons I'm currently unable to determine from a web search.

Apparently the original source of ignition for the blaze was a car, so it's technically a Car Fire *and* a Carr Fire.

Unfortunately, there have been a number of casualties. So people really are Dying In A Carr Fire.

The Carr Fire was reported on 23 July 2018 at the intersectino of Highway 299 and Carr Powerhouse Road. I expect that's why it's called the 'Carr Fire'.
