Is it just me, or is Matt Drudge losing his touch? Admittedly I like my news
with a conservative perspective, but lately it seems that Drudge Report's
knack for figuring out which stories matter long before anyone else, has been
replaced by a penchant for telling us about how soon we will all be having
sex with robots.

Supposedly the suspect is armed-and-dangerous, and there are four police cruisers chasing him (or her or it or whatever), but he refuses to commit any traffic violations. Driving under the speed limit, using turn signals, stopping at red lights.
Every now and then he comes to a stop, the police all get out of their cars, and he starts up again.

BORING. The guy stopped at blocked traffic, got out of the car and surrendered peacefully.

the rails, went off an overpass and crashed onto an interstate highway.

But over on the west coast, tens of thousands of acres are burning in a wildfire right now, a disaster which is being called the "Carr Fire" for reasons I'm currently unable to determine from a web search.
Apparently the original source of ignition for the blaze was a car, so it's technically a Car Fire *and* a Carr Fire.
Unfortunately, there have been a number of casualties. So people really are Dying In A Carr Fire.
The Carr Fire was reported on 23 July 2018 at the intersectino of Highway 299 and Carr Powerhouse Road. I expect that's why it's called the 'Carr Fire'.
