While watching some old cartoons, it occurred to me that for anyone under
the age of 45 (maybe even 50), our first exposure to the voice of Edward G.
Robinson wasn't the man himself, but instead, the frog gangster from Courageous
Cat and Minute Mouse.

The major networks are not carrying the speech tonight.
It seems that HRH Imperatus Obamus Husseini Primus did not request air-time.
I am debating between watching it on CNN or taking a crap.
Taking the crap is winning the debate.

Popped into my brain from another room...
Morse and Mincy.
Eh?
Well, in another room, I saw a discussion about Morse code, and my brain kinda saw that as 'Mork Code', but rather than go with that, I went with Morse & Mincy instead.
Jim Henson must be rolling over in his grave. The new Muppet Show is basically "30 Rock" with a muppet cast. Yecch.
There are no more new TV show ideas.
Hot in Cleveland is Golden Girls.
Big Bang is The Young Ones (It also reminds me of a U.S. show I can't think of)

/Hot in Cleveland/ is Golden Girls.
Big Bang is The Young Ones (It also reminds me of a U.S. show I
can't think of)
Big Bang leans *very* heavily on That 70s Show.
Fez = Rajish
Eric = Leonard
Donna = Penny
The only 'puzzle' is which 70s character corresponds to Sheldon.
Hyde (??) = Sheldon
and
Jackie = Amy Farrah Fowler
Big Bang has "stolen" character quirks and even episode plots.
And, most important, Big Bang is funnier. But then, I'm prejudiced...
When the creators of "The Young Ones" were asked why was there only 12 episodes (two seasons UK tv) they said because when a show lasts too long the jokes are repeated and it becomes boring. I think Big Bang is like ever other show
2½ men it was the same over sexed jokes from Sheen's character and the oh so innocent from the boy.
Big Bang same jokes every show... how how rude will Sheldon be THIS episode... ohhhh! how whimsical!
2½ men it was the same over sexed jokes from Sheen's character and
Charlie Sheen is one of those actors who can only play one character.
(The worst of the worst is, of course, Tom Cruise, who can only play Tom Cruise ... badly.)
By the way, Angus Jones, who played the "kid" on Two and a Half Men, voluntarily walked away from the show (and a $300,000 per episode paycheck) because his own morality began to exceed that of the show and he just couldn't do it anymore.
Hey, Betty White is playing a sassy sexual old lady.... AGAIN! HAW HAW HAW
Sheldon can't related to average people! Oh those jokes are STILL funny
This is why I don't watch television.
