Yeah I saw "153 new of 240 messages." and wondered how could a converstation take off but it seems to have
taken old messages from the networked linked BBSes. It went from 2013 messages to 2003 messages.

I still miss Firefly. That was by far my favorite futuristic show.

So. New Doctor Whos are supposed to be airing soon. That's still considered science fiction, right?

Has anyone read Quartet and Triptych by Matt Hughes? I've been meaning to look for it by the library, but I rarely go anymore because of the timing. The only time available to go to the library is after work/ after school, instead of preparing dinner, and at an hour when the baby (3) likes to spend his time crying.

I finished watching it some time ago; went from really strange, to bad, to very bad, to interesting but waaaay drawn out, and finally to bad but I kinda want to see how it ends.

I've been watching Farscape, which to my mind is largely interchangeable with Lexx. I've got a huge backlog of old Sci Fi to watch.

It's that quirkiness that has me intrigued with it.

In the very first episode, you're introduced to the idea of a place where harvesting human organs (live) is so commonplace they built machines to automate the process. That's quirky, and messed up.

It's not "Sci Fi" anymore.  Now it's "SyFy" -- indicating that they have replaced the science fiction with crappy reality shows like everyone else.
