careful inspection of the scriptures will reveal this is where MAN plays a key supporting role. otherwise God is a lucky rabbits foot and man has no free will. God is able to overcome evil on earth - through the action of an obedient servant -YOU! You have to make a choice and God will HONOR your choice. Team Jesus, Team Lucifer. Different things happen when you are members of either team. Team Jesus will look like the book of Acts- even today. If you're on Team Jesus and the you dont see the book of Acts manifesting in your walk. you need to make some adjustments. Not on Team Jesus yet? you by definition are operating under the power of Team Lucifer- it never ends well, you will always lament like just like Epicurus. you're a computer guy- you know what binary is. it can't get simpler. you just haven't experienced 1 yet.

Except.. when i was young i played a lot with analog computers. Much like life, nothing was 1 or 0 , it was all shades of voltage.

I've said something similar before. "On a small enough time scale, everything is analog." Another one that blew a friend's mind: every number in a computer is an integer. Floats are just integers with an exponent field.
maybe. technically its a Fourier series, a set of frequencies. a little more complex than what even analog would imply. unfortunately it doesn't apply to the team jesus / team lucifer metaphor. ya, the binary computer metaphor may strain on deeper exploration. suffice it to say, most of humanity will be born, live and die under the power of team lucifer and will never experience team jesus. you may hear about team jesus all your life and many think they're on team jesus, but they arent. team lucifer is sneaky that way (talkin bout business churches here). scripture implies that way more than 50% of humanity will die under team lucifer. The road is narrow.

Free will is a funny thing. Faith is nothing without it. And yet, evil exists in the world because of it.

There's bad enemy who also works through human accomplices. Base human nature is pretty perverse and the demonic has easy access, its easy to be on team satan. Bad happens, good happens. The sun shines and the rain falls on the wicked and the good. Those on team jesus overall have better outcomes especially when they are walking in a relationship. Miracles happen, too many on team jesus are stuck in baby land- even till they die.
