When you see a prominent democrat start making the news or getting a lot of media attention that will be who was preselected. They probably wanted Cuomo for the VP spot, he seems to have run into a few problems. Now they have to look for someone else.

He will leave, either on his own as he wont even be able to find his way out the bedroom door at some point, or a back room deal, "remember, this was the plan, its time for you to go now" or "we are getting too much heat, you gotta go " but it will not be via impeachment. Need the house for that, and he owns that. in effect.
