Seriously. Sometimes they send a bill and insurance pays it anyway. Sometimes insurance pays on the second try. Just let the bills sit until they send them a few more times. Only after it's abundantly clear that you're on the hook to pay, do you send a payment.
Wed Jun 14 2017 12:53:48 PM EDT from wizard of aahz @ UncensoredHospital and health insurance billing has got me so fooking confused. All these bills on my desk and no clue when I can sit ont he phone for hours to have them explained to me.
My experience is that, at first go, the hospitals and the associated 3rd party services don't bill your insurance. Even if you provide them with the insurance info at hospital check-in, the hospital doesn't usually bill the insurance AND they DO NOT pass the insurance info on to the 3rd parties.
Therefore, your best bet is to call each of them (I know...PITA and time consuming) and make sure that each has your insurance info, so that they can bill them, first.
Either way, I would NOT pay the providers a cent until AFTER you've received your EOB (explanation of benefits) from your insurance company, for each bill/provider, which will include the amount that you can expect to pay the provider.
Apparently, the '9/11 was an inside job' conspiracy has started back up after the building fire in London.
I just took a multi-year tour of the White House without going any further than my local post office!
I applied for my passport, in anticipation of doing some overseas travel for work later this year. The woman at the post office (who was *super* nice) told me that my passport photo was overexposed and that the government would certainly reject it. She said my skin "looked orange" which is the same thing liberal racists say about President Trump. (White House 2017-2024: check!)
After having my photo retaken (at no charge) I completed the application and, to my surprise, they took my *original* birth certificate, which is required for first-time applications. So at this time I am not in possession of an authentic birth certificate -- just like Barack Saddam Hussein Osama Obama.
(White House 2009-2017: check!)
Of course, unlike President Trump, my orangeness was temporary, and unlike Barry O, my lack of a birth certificate is only temporary.
You never had your original birth certificate, the original is the records department, you had a copy.
I do hope that Jim Acosta gets so upset at President Awesome that he has a coronary and drops dead. It's kind of fun to watch. He's been in a non-stop tantrum for months. What he doesn't seem to realize is that he's not a journalist; he's a troll. And he's finally being treated as one.
Strange, when I clicked "post message" I received this error:

His brain doesn't work anymore. His cosmology is atheist and therefore wrong, and now he's being an asshole political pundit. His brain is SO broken, he thinks global warming is real and Donald Trump causes it.
