"Project 2025" is from the Heritage Foundation. It's got some pretty right wing stuff in it. Most of it I actually agree with ... but that's coming from me so it isn't a surprise. After all, I am in favor of killing pro-abortion activists.
The problem with this stuff is that it's too far to the right of the Overton window (even though it shouldn't be). Anyone who wants to be elected can't go that far over and expect to have broad support.
After all, what is the #1 campaign promise of every Republican running this year? It is of course, to push for a national abortion ban. Ok, it isn't, it isn't even remotely that, but every demoKKKrat says that it is. Because demoKKKrats always lie. Well I've learned that Trump is not really a conservative so much as a 1990s moderate. I am really disappointed in him for standing by (heck, he may have encouraged it) while the GOP GUTTED its pro-life policy, and completely deleted its provision defining marriage as between a man and a woman. He wanted to repeal Obamacare but I heard he walked that back (WHY?). I hope DeSantis gets the GOP nomination in 2028, because we need a real conservative in The White House. Don't get me wrong, I will still be voting for Trump this year, but not because I think he's the best that's ever been.
