What I can't figure out is what the heck the Chinese - or whomever -
"or whomever" indeed.
They're setting up a war with Russia, when it's really China who is our enemy.
We should hack into Russia's weapon systems and launch a Russian attack on Beijing.
I wouldn't say Russia is our friend however.

I guess i should add, they are not the big bad enemy either. In some ways they are closer to us than UK ( especially as we have moved further left ).. But they are still not our friends.
I think Reagan and Gorbachev started that process. Will be funny ( in a sad way ) when we pass them and become more authoritarian than they are.

so now that the Ohio spill is in the water supply and river, i wonder how much damage it will cause down stream in Indiana and Kentucky..
At least the fire department burned off all the flammables. Unfortunately, the non-flammables are also pretty toxic. This might end up causing a water crisis downstream. If the water system operators are smart, they'll shut off their intake pumps at the first sign of contamination.

I hope all those horses in Kentucky stay safe from this.
Did they? Really? I dont buy anything they tell us now.
And that mushroom cloud they made, will head east. Slowly depositing its crud along the way.

Just add one more reason why I recently started slowly stockpiling potable water.
Just add one more reason why I recently started slowly stockpiling
potable water.
How are you doing the stockpiling?
I just use big bottles because they are both manageable and disposable. The problem is you cannot reuse them for long, or the plastic goes bad and the water with it. I have considered using barrels or water tanks but then management becomes a pain. You need to start adding chemicals to the water so it does not grow kelp.
Myself, i have some large bottles, empty. The ones you see on office water coolers. ( Creek near by, and a major river not too far ( worst case, if our towns water supply went belly up.. We rely on towers that are not protected, so a drunk idiot in a car could topple one ) But i have filters and can distill the water so contaminates i'm not too cornered about..
If word of impending doom comes, id fill them up ahead of time, but with the creek/river im not too concerned. If those dry up we have bigger problems.
Long term storage, i think the chemicals you add are really cheap. + rotate them out every so often as long as you have supply. ( like food except you just dump the water.. )
If you're using metal containers to store the water, you can use a UV lamp to prevent any sort of growth. Just make sure it's emitting both UV-A and UV-B.

should work for clear plastic too.
My water cooler in the house has a UV light somewhere in it. Donno if it flashes the bottle or the little holding tank where it cools water. Never bothered to look into it.

Okay, "stockpiling" may be an oversell, I am still a neophite here. At the moment I am just buying bottled and jugged water from the local grocery store once a month or so. I'm trying to consume it at a very slow but regular pace so that I will eventually manage a rotation and it will never get too old.
I've seen some guides about buying used food grade 55 gallon drums, and how to treat them and store them in your garage. I may do something like that one day, but I'm not there yet.
Some plastics block some UV frequencies. You don't want to use plastics with UV cleaning lamps, because the UV breaks down the plastic. That's specifically why I said use a metal container with UV.

i was thinking of shoving the light into the mouth, not hanging it off the side. I also thought plastics used in water cooler bottles were not UV sensitive.
Not that im a plastic chemist, even on tv, just what i thought was the case.

I dump nothing. I have my stockpiles full and what I do is to drink from the stockpiles and renew the empty bottles immediately.
I have a working well and a river in close walking distrance. THe water stockpile is about the only prepper thing I admit is full paranoia.

Don't worry, we still love you.
So i guess they are starting to release those videos that were given to tucker about jan 6. Or at least info around them. The dude with the horns, shows him being led on a tour by staff the entire time. Yet he is now in prison?
The country is gone. No saving it. Might as well cancel the constitution outright, collapse all state goverments and change our name to something like the North American Federalist Nation.
