Heard a theory today, that the Jan 6 "hearings' is not really about Trump. Sure, they want to get him charged and convicted of something, ( anything ) to keep him from running, but that is not the end goal, and hes just a tool..
They want to use the "findings" to stir up their base and use it as ammunition to revamp the entire voting process, move it to be federally controlled 'the states cant be trusted to do it right", and get rid of the electoral college.. "its only fair that every vote counts"

"Dictatorship is a government" is like "atheism is a religion" -- yes, it's true, and it is a great way of pointing out that the word doesn't always mean what you would like it to mean.
Here in the US we still have a culture of being a nation born from rebellion.
It's part of our spirit whether we think about it or not. That's one big reason for "the great replacement" -- bring in people who don't have that spirit. Unfortunately for them, after a generation or two, the new folks tend to pick it up.
