My prediction might have been wrong after all.

Nearly a year ago i predicted gas at 6 bucks by end of August..     Just hit 526 tonight.  August may be 7 instead...

Some California dude arrested, getting ready to kill Kavanugh.

The people that doxed him should be in prison. Schumer should be too "you will feel the wrath" ( or however he worded it, it was still a threat )

These F*wads are not compatible with a free society, kick them out. Every last one of them. Screw this 'getting along' nonsense. F-them.

Yup. Don't have anything to add to that, but I agree with all of it.

Former vice president Biden has basically encouraged the riots. I think people who are pro-abortion should have their heads and limbs ripped off with forceps.

Unfortunately, the ultimate outcome of the rulings over the last couple of days by SCOTUS will mean the current admin will pack the court before they leave office.

Lefties on twitter are freaking out.  Abortion was never constitutional, it's just murder.  It baffles me how one murder can be legal and another murder can be illegal, based purely on whether or not the victim has made it past a certain age.

I hear they are calling for firebombing churches.

Not that i support destruction, but here i'm not even sure what the point is, the church didnt make the ruling it was the government..

So did our November red wave just vaporize?

I don't think so.  We still have excessively excessive gas prices, inflatious inflation, and an incompetent government.

There never was one.

They are going to just cheat again to remain in power.

But, they did just mobilize their radical base. Time will tell if they can come up with another crisis/etc to keep them going thru November.

I still think they will cheat, i dont see them giving up power willingly.

Hmm Thomas has hinted at reversing a ruling protecting gay marriage. Something about inherent privacy.

Personally, while its not for me, i'm ok with same-sex ( or group ) marriage if someone wants it, but i'm not real sure what it has to do with privacy. Public contracts are, well public.  Sort of confused on that original ruling in the first place.

But that said, I dont think the government should be involved in the concept of "marriage" at all.  Provide a simple contract of shared liability between 2 or more consenting adults, and that it.  No different than forming an LLC. To me, the underlying concept of "marriage" is something different and should be handled internally by the various religious cults, and their various rules instead of the "state" intervening with a 'blessed' version.  ( that separation of church and state stuff..)

Yep, this is how I know I'm definitely among like-minded individuals here. I actually came to that same conclusion when I was in high school. I've never seen this point come up in the public debate, among the public figures or talk show opinionists, or even other adults I talk with in person. Every time I mention it I get looks like that never crossed their mind, usually followed by FUD about filing joint tax returns or child custody battles or hospital visitation rules. I always counter that we have those problems ANYWAY, and somehow we make it work for non traditional relationships (I know a guy who lived with his girlfriend for almost 10 years before they finally got married!), so of course it can be made to work. It really disturbs me how uncomfortable people immediately react to the notion of the government stepping OUT of some aspect of their lives. We really do live under Big Brother rule and most don't even realize it.

Agreed with both of you. Let the government offer nothing more than a way to declare a domestic partnership for tax purposes, insurance, etc. Let it be any two people for any reason, and let it be dissolvable with or without reason.

Marriage itself is a holy and sacred institution; leave THAT to the churches.

Ok did someone in DC give SCOTUS a bottle of common sense to drink?

They just struck down NYCs law allowing non-citizens to vote.   Doesn't Kalifornia have something like that too, but at a state level?

It's even more incredible than how you sold it. This wasn't a SCOTUS decision, it was SCONY.
