Neato.
No snow out this way, at least nothing worth mentioning.
But I'd really like to leave my condominium sometime. Kinda frustrated having been cooped up for a couple of weeks straight.
Wow, surprised my account still exists. :)
Of course it does. Everyone needs to just keep coming back and logging in. Welcome home.
As was hinted at, this past weekend we celebrated 30 years online. UNCENSORED! was first connected to the universe on 1988-mar-10, on a modem line at 914-761-6877, 300/1200/2400 bps, call now! Actually don't call now; the number changed in 1994 and then we got rid of dialup entirely in 2001.
It is a pleasure serving you and I look forward to the next 30+ years.
My absence was in large part due to my working on the Kestrel-2DX, finally
making it into a real computer of sorts. Then, I found a job at a start-up,
so that's also taking up a fair bit of time.
I just read your latest blog post. Fascinating, but I'll find somewhere other
than the Lobby to discuss it :)
I've been thinking that we ought to find a way to attract people to UNCENSORED!
using its original draw: the fact that it is, in fact, uncensored.
Censorship was a small local thing when Farokh Irani was doing it. Now it's a huge problem, and there is a widespread perception that Facebook/Google/Twitter have become the "ministry of truth" and are actively censoring viewpoints that don't align with their worldview.
Anyone good with marketing? I sense an opportunity here.

I tried to tell some old citadel users about this place but they mentioned something about facebook. I stopped talking to them.
An American holiday celebrating drinking and eating cheap brined cuts of meat. The holiday has something to do with Ireland and snakes but here in America it is used as an excuse to drink.
St Patrick's Day and New Years are the days the pro drinkers stay home ... too many amateurs
I sure do love corned beef and cabbage though. My mom makes it really well but I haven't had it since they've started wintering in Florida. :(

You should be careful, part of the beauty of this is it's relative obscurity. Also if you go all mainstream, you'd need to build an app.
In any event Happy Birthday UNCENSORED!
