Don't blame me, I was in charge of the cups, plates and plasticware.

Busy busy busy. My job switched up last June and I'm now doing a lot of traveling around the western US, wearing civilian clothes and teaching classes. Sort of became disconnected from doing techie nerdy things.

But my Kickstartered Pine64 box arrived a few weeks ago and now I have a dedicated full-time Debian system running Minecraft so I can play with the kids from anywhere in the world. And command line usage always brings me back here. =)

Most of my busy doesn't really have anything to do with my day job. In December, I took over as the regional planning manager for Team Rubicon USA Region X (covering Alaska, Idaho, Oregon, and Washington), a volunteer gig that takes 10-15 hours a week if nothing disastrous is happening.

Aside from that, after almost ten years back stateside, I've been invited back to participate in The War again this fall, so getting the house and kids ready for that absence.

No one here is likely to know. Why not try asking in the Citadel Support room?

Well here we are, it's Monday again ... like clockwork, the gardeners come to mow the lawn of the Guinea Palace next door every Monday morning. And my neighbor always directs them to dump the clippings (or pretty much any lawn waste) into my yard, because I have woods on that side and he has a manicured lawn.

Is it legal to mine your own property?

Talk to your neighbor and talk to the landscaping company.  Tell them you don't want his clippings on your property.  Why so angry and violent?

I already talked to the neighbor. At the time they were dumping leaf waste, and he said "well, it's from your trees."

There is no landscaping company. He has his own machinery and hires his own illegal immigrants. I doubt a real landscaping company would behave this way.

Invite him over for cheese steak sandwiches, milk and a night of the ultra-violence.

Agreed, a bit of the old ultra violence would do him well. A bit if one in the yarbles.

There is a temporary moratorium on the philly steaks ... for some reason, my flat-top has started warping every time I heat it up. I think the welds on the reinforcing bars underneath it have come loose or something.
