Where the hell was the coffee converstation? My mother got my sister a coffee maker for Thanksgiving.... she
needed a new coffee maker. Hamilton Beach makes a "Flex Brew" coffee maker, it has a 12 cup pot side and a
single cup mug side. The signle side will use regular grounds or the K-cup packs.

It seems to work nice althought I didn't try the k-cup thingie. In the long term I wonder how it will be. My
neices say they will use both the pot and single mug options.

I just thought that was an interesting idea, will have to see how it works.

A press pot, hot stove (Franklin or other), and kettle is a sonuvabitch setup, but can make any range in-between :-)  Of course, more clean up applies.

Good to see progress none the less.

"The main cause of them needing repairs, say those who fix them, is that gas was never drained at the end of the prior winter season."

No, the main cause of them needing repairs is deliberate sabotage by ninja cats. Every schoolduck knows this.

Draining the gas from a small engine for the entire summer is a great way to allow moisture, and therefore rust, to enter the engine. Fuel stabilizer is the proper answer.

Dang we haven't ran our generator forever. Need to break it in again, probably has some stale fuel in it now :P.

Which is bad because it's winter now :P

Not only is the generator home now, but it's been tuned up and exercised:

I hate having to use orange extension cords but we haven't built a transfer panel at the new house yet.  Also in photo: very long driveway, which inspired me to buy a plow attachment for my John Deere.  It gets snow out of the way and also mows down Connecticut Ninja Cats.

I wish to revise my statement about the world coming to an end on Dec 21st, 2014. I miscalculated the conversion
of the numbering system from the Mayans. The end of the world will happen on Dec 21st 2015 and Voyager has not
left the solar system.
