well damn. why did i not try that before?
Actually, https://uncensored.citadel.org should work just fine. Welcome!
Not real sure where this fits, but its funny.
the uk government ( and others ) are trying to eradicate the drone/RC plane hobby.
As evidence of "how dangerous these things are", and that they need to basically ban them outright, to get public support they posted a picture of "evidence": Its a picture out of the window of a jetliner above the clouds so at at least 30,000 feet, ( ill estimate around 600 mph, might be off, but close enough ) with a tiny prop drone hovering outside the window...
As freaking ludicrous as this is, the sad part is the unwashed masses will believe it and demand action.
The question is, why would the governments be so afraid of civilians having the ability to have remote controlled cameras in the skies as a simple hobby?
The answer is pretty obvious. A collision with a small civilian drone would be less threat to any sized airplane than a bird strike.
So... what are they ACTUALLY worried about?

I know what sounds good, french toast. I should run over to the store to get some milk bread and eggs.
So... what are they ACTUALLY worried about?
Vaping. They're worried that the drones might start vaping.
Vaping can deliver toxic metals like nickel and lead into your lungs.
That's METAL! In your LUNGS!
So according to the weather people we were supposed to get hard with snow today, but really nothing out of the ordinary for winter in the Midwest... In reality however, it ended up being almost nothing.
I actually heard someone yesterday: "its man made climate change that is causing this huge snow storm of the century"
Then when it didnt happen " its man made climate change that caused such a small amount of snow to fall"
1 - its winter in the Midwest, it snows
2- make up your freaking mind..

Correction: collision with an unmodded drone would have less impact than a bird collision. Imagine that drone is carrying a stick of TNT or some home-made explosives (speaking of hobbyists). Imagine that drone flying around an airport, shopping mall, or school. Or a busy freeway.
