At this point i think so. We used the last of the gastro-medications
last night. So next couple of days will be the final test if there
is any relapse.
I have been reading that even if they did get it all, average life
span afterwards is around 3 years. Not ready for that. Going to
be rough and i wont be the same person afterward. I had a special
cat for 20 years at my side ( i think he qualified as an light
colored apple-head Siamese.. ), never really recovered from that
either. I changed.
My recommendation is to stop thinking about it and enjoy your dog as much as you can, as usual. I had an old dog ith such pityful looks that everybody told me "I bet this is his last year." The guy was a total fighter and proved them wrong for 5 years or so.
A friend of mine has a horse who everybody thinks is about to die. He is going bald and he is skinny as heck. He has been about to die for what must be 8 years.
A relative of mine was diagnosed some aggressive cancer and given 6 months. The sucker lasted years. I think he didn't want anybody to inherit his money.
Yes that is the plan.

At the grocery today, deli getting some meat. Looking at the abundance of meats and choices. Sort of sad to look at it, knowing what is coming. It will be so disheartening to remember these days during the famine next year.. It will make the scarcity in 2020 look like child's play as we actually starve, not just complain.
