Oh man, glad it wasn't worse, but that's awful, IG! Hope you feel better soon....and that you at least enjoy the good drugs!
Somebody told him to go to hell, and he took them literally literally?
Ouch. I can say with confidence that breaking an ankle sucks. Hoping the ligaments are intact. Get well soon.
Good point, Aahz....what the heck *were* you doing on a ladder in TX,
anyway?
Running fiber optic cable in overhead racks. A bunch of us came down here to work on a special and somewhat important project. Not my normal area of work, but we were all pitching in where we needed to.
It wasn't even that high of a fall. Just a couple of steps.

Eww. Breaking your ankle in Feces just seems that much more of an injury....
As for a few small steps, I tore my ACL and dislocated my knee taking a step backwards at kung fu years ago. Sometimes it just doesn't take much.
How's it feeling?
Sat Aug 12 2017 07:30:52 PM EDT from IGnatius T Foobar @ UncensoredStill very uncomfortable, particulary when the foot is not "up". Very frustrated that I can't got back to work yet, even from home. And of course extremely angry with Facebook.
Up is good....you should have the IGlet rig you a traction get up. No remote work cause....too many good drugs? :-)
Sun Aug 13 2017 03:04:53 PM EDT from IGnatius T Foobar @ UncensoredWithout getting into too many details, I believe there is some issue with regard to me performing any type of "work" and receiving any type of compensation on our workers comp insurance at the same time.
I don't know how NY worker's comp works, but in IN, you can be receiving medical treatment, paid for by the company's WC plan, and still work and earn your regular pay, if the doctors have indicated that you can work.
But, in the People's Republic of NY, things may be different.
I've made workers comp claims in NY - just related to carpal tunnel. There was no issue with continuing to work.
He is milking the system....
I knew it!
