I developed a chocolate sensitivity later in life. I call it an allergy, but technically it isn't. Allergies don't cause migraines, they are more about closing airways and swelling and stuff. Stuff that anti-histamines can help fix.
I have a tooth steadily rotting in my head.
Apparently, it has reached a point of no return. It cannot be recovered.
I'm at risk of the thing just exploding with refreshing shitpiles of pain if I don't get it out in time. And that time, hopefully, is this Thursday.
This is a consequence of not having a lower tooth to push on it to stay in my mouth. It has been dropping a little bit over time, to the point that the roots have now become exposed.
I also learned that I'm something of a freak. My front incisors meet evenly.
Most people have a slight overbite. This is causing extra damage to my front incisors, as they bang against each other. I'm going to blame fake news, since that's trending lately.
I could, of course, put myself on a heavy regimen of alcohol in advance of any tooth emergency until Thursday when they expect to address the issue, even though I am not experiencing any significant pain yet, but I worry that such proactive exercizes could have a long-term effect in which I hold no interest.
Not to mention all the code I'd need to rewrite after my tooth is pulled.
Be very careful... My friends daughter just died from an overdose of Ibuprofin

yep. *cringe.*
Although ibuprofen (in large-ish doses) works surprisingly well for toothache.
I'm sorry to hear that. But I'm talking about reasonable doses of around 600mg. (I was prescribed 800mg, 3x/day, after I broke my ankle...)
The dentist had suggested around 800mg 3x/day as well.
I'm doing pretty well without any today.
Unfortunately, I'm not able to eat solid foods for a while. Mashed potatoes, noodles, soups, etc. I kinda wanted a bagel today, too.

just run it through the blender first
Heh.. the bagel blender.
"Begin blending bagels benignly by blending bagels with the bagel blender.
Boring bagels? Bah. Blend your bagel with the bagel blender and baptize yourself brisquely with butter before blathering about boring bagels again."
Dentist tomorrow for the new crown, and probably some other work.
Another $2,000 goes pouffee, although this time I'm on the hook for all of it.
I need to take better care of these things. Power-washing them with sugar and soda isn't working as well as I would like.

I'd have been disappointed if someone didn't post that obviously correct but obviously useless answer :)
in fact, i am in a hospital in texas after falling off a ladder and dislocating *and* shattering my ankle.
talknabout pain. yeowwch.
evidently when I was hepped up on drugs one of the doxtors said "so uou're from New York?" and i said something resembling "live from New York, it's Saturday Night"
do they put me under to do a "reduction" (take cqre of the disloxation) and in the morning i get orthopedic surgery. ugh.
Well good luck.....I heard in Texas if you broke your ankle they would just shoot you.
You have to remind them that you are not from the city....People generally don't like New Yorkers but if they know there is a difference between city filth and the good, kind, wonderful, conservative upstate New Yorkers. Make sure you tell them your are not a city slicker.
And good luck, hope everything turns out well.
