Based on how much of a sunburn I got over the last couple of days, I feel like I could cook something on the top of my head.

I protect myself from the sun by commuting. And not using my sunroof. Heh.

A number of years ago, I discovered the hard way that I now have to wear a hat when I go to the beach because my hair is now thin enough that the top of my head will burn. And I thought that this was the worst possible thing involving the sun and middle age. This year I got sunburned on an upward-facing surface that makes the sun-and-middle-age thing even more annoying: the top of my belly.

My wife said to me, "Now you know what it's like for women who have cleavage."
And I said it's totally not the same! Cleavage is attractive. Cleavage is bonusfest. Everyone likes to look at that. Nobody wants to look at an overweight belly.

Did you have the hamburger with it or just eat it dry out of the box?

Speaking of which I found out the hard way that you can't use ultapasteurized milk for cheese making, regular pasteurized milk will work.  I was going to mention raw milk but our government protects us and you can't buy that in the states.

and for shure no cheese from it! This is why europeans don't want TTIP ;-) because of camenbert and other insanely stinky cheese won't work from pasteurized milk.

After all these years, I've finally acquired a taste for sushi. Not sure why it took so long.

I have heard it said that it takes a couple of tries to acquire pretty much any taste, but the tastes that we are accustomed to were all acquired at an early age. Not sure how that works but I suppose it's true.

I started to enjoy sushi in my early 20s (well, I could never make myself try the fishier fish, like Mackerel), then stopped loving it, now I'm back to having some occasionally. I don't usually make a whole meal out of sushi anymore; I'll get a couple of pieces of yellowtail along with a dish.
