Ginger used to do beading but she's developed weakness in her right hand and she is right-handed. It's affected her grip strength and dexterity. Also she's feeling less motivated to do her artwork since she's depressed.

It would be nice if we could find some craft she could do that was using things bigger than the little beads. They're just too small for her now.

Wonderful!  What was the best part?

One best part? I don't know if I can do that.

Learning two entirely different approaches to working with beads in one weekend? Combining my love of textile techniques with beading? Learning more wire techniques than just how to make a ring? The ability to make a ring for $4 plus the price of a bead? Learning something that suddenly turns the beading approach into a mosiac of possibilities?

I don't know... it was just flat out cool.

He works out, so hopefully it'll be useful to him. (do you guys thikn it's masculine enough?)

Now that I found my camera, I can start posting my handiwork.

It's cute, and I think he'll like it, but I think it's impossible for *any* type of cozy to be "masculine".
